What is making people think tomorrow rather than today?

Two separate bits of info which appear to concur with each other.

One - someone said a friend of a friend works at Seetickets and said tomorrow.

Two - Someone who has a friend who is a performer and they got tickets from them. Their deadline to give all their reg details for tickets its 5pm today.

There were two posts on here yesterday which strongly suggested tomorrow was likely. They seemed legit but it's the internet so who knows? my gut feeling was for today looking at the info on past resales so i am still keeping my eyes peeled, just incase.

Ahh, please let it be today. i'm out all day tomorrow with no phone signal :(  3rd time trying in secret resales for others. this time just need 2 for my sis and her boyf...really want my 7yo niece to be there as she loves Katy Perry. Sorry I don't comment much, reading everyone's posts intently whilst failing at entertaining my toddler! Really hope the hard work pays off especially for those who haven't been for years.

Three - Last year it was 2 days after campervan / worthy went back on sale (did I see that, am I going mad here?)

My guts are good - just been to loo

You really wanted to know that didn't you.

You've been to the loo? Are you mad! It could happen at any time. Any time!

Without trawling through this thread...how are people waiting to be notified that the tickets are on sale? Is there a whatsapp group? and is Neil running that text alert which you have to pay for? Or are people using page monitors only? I need to try and get one for a friend.

I think that if there's gonna be a resale today, it's gonna be coach tickets.

I suspect there won't be a coach sale unless the number of returned coach tickets get them below the minimum they have to provide. The whole sale process is more time and effort for See and I'm sure they know people will take any available coach, flying from Bristol to Glasgow to get a coach to the festival certainly ain't 'green'. Ofc I could be way off base here...

I just thought, do you have more chance of securing a ticket the less tickets you're going for? Say theres only one left and you're going for 2... you're gonna get none at all, right? Or is this just common sense?

i feel like i'm getting so obsessive that i don't even know how ridiculous my questions are anymore.

I'm primarily using Neil's - £5 is a bargain if it works - I got pings fairly quickly yesterday so I at least feel like the ball is in my court.  That tiny, tiny ball, where's it gone...

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
