" It’s 2015 and in reality there are seven political leaders and not a safe pair of hands among them, but here in Shangri-La we create our own reality. 2015 is the year of the Shang Re-election and we want to know what YOU would do better. This year’s story aims to help people connect with the political process and demonstrate that politics can be for them and by them. We will be letting you know more about the theme and line-up this week, but for now, please don't forget, you have until 12 am tonight to register to vote."

Hospital Records at a major festival again?

zzzz

Them and the Black Butter crew.. there are so many decent dance labels out there cant we mix it up a bit? Same guys year in year out at every single festival.

Of course, brilliant news if you like Hospital Records which an awful lot of people do, probably the most popular D&B label....... just having a long day at work.....

I'm very much looking forward to having them back but there are plenty of other labels that should be invited along as well as having Hospital play.

I haven't seen S.P.Y. in ages & never at a fest. Thank you Shangri La.

I might be wrong here, but Drum and Bass seems to be a very london thing.

When I go to london, my mate is always going on about decent nights there. I just don't get it.

My only real gripe about Glasto is there is too much drum and Bass in the SE corner. I need to get to Bez's acid house this year!

I used to get a proper pang of excitement when I saw Hospital mentioned on a lineup. They seem to be in attendance at every fest I go to now though...

Will be cool seeing S.P.Y. live but I've done the rest to death, and I don't think they can top Bestival's Hospital ship party. That shit was insane.

Yeah, there was a lot of acid house last year too though. I listen to way more house at the festival than I normally do. Finding straight up techno is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Its a very UK sound in general but yeah it was made in London and the biggest nights are still in London.

Used to be a massive fan but now I love all sorts. UK Garage/Bassline (no, not "deep house") & Grime has come back in a big way over the last year and Id love for that to be represented in SE Corner.

Totally agree with this. Can't we have a Kompakt or Innervisions takeover instead?

Would love that. What are the chances of an innervisions night at glasto? None of them played last year but theyve been doing nights around england over the winter so hopefully its a possibility. Theyre also doing festivals like parklife and sw4.

Harry3, I gotta take you to task on this. D&B comes out of several UK cities and regions, notably Birmingham/The Midlands, Bristol and Manchester.

Big UK grime fan like you and would also love see some grime artists and collectives at Glastonbury...

Manchester?

It isn't a sound you hear much around here

    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.
    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
    • I see there's yet another article doing the rounds about Madonna doing BST, and not Glastonbury.   That could be right, but given there'll be plenty of tickets to shift for BST, could it not just be false info doing the rounds to protect that?? Not that I think Madonna would struggle to shift tickets, or that Glastonbury would have that much impact, but still - would probably still make sense to protect ticket sales when it's announced?
    • Given BST recently I wouldn't expect it as rock heavy as that. I kinda am expecting it'd be where The Cure play though as I'm expecting a second year touring of them
