Went to go see Dj Seinfeld last night at Peckham Audio. Great night and banging little club - perfect size, no queues for toilet or bar, proper air con (was generally almost cold).

Also it made me realise how bad sound systems are at most large scale events (Printworks, Beams etc). I thought my hearing was going a bit because of too many events but they had a proper soundsystem that vibrated your clothes but also didn’t feel damagingly loud (probably was).

Kerri Chandler is in the UK at the moment anyone going to see him?

I’ve never managed to catch him despite loving his tunes and sets. I saw he’s playing Koko in London every Saturday this month but I can’t make it work cause of other events.

I went to Amelie Lens at Printworks and the sound was terrible, as was the vibe (everybody filming on their phones), went to Paula Temple afterwards at E1’s Black Rooms… about 15 minutes inside i said to my mate “this is already better than the whole night at Printworks”

As someone with tinnitus, I really appreciate a decent system these days. Last couple of times I went to Brixton Academy (IDLES was the worst) my ears were fucked for days, actually sore.

Where do we reckon they'd put him on for a solo set / show?

I think he headlined the Other in 2014, but not sure he's as popular as he was then.

Wasn't there a rumour he's one of Arcadia's headliners this year?

Oooof that is goooooood.

He deffo headlined that year (I wasn’t there, took a year off as all my mates were getting married and having stag dos!).

He was at his peak then for sure in terms of popularity, as was dubstep.

Hard to place now tbh, is he too big to headline somewhere like Sonic? Arcadia would probably be perfect tbh.

Yeah I suppose Arcadia may be the best slot for him at the moment.

Think that the only thing that left me a bit unsure, was that's also where I would have put the Skrillex/FourTet/Fred show. (assuming that's also happening)

I suppose he could "curate" a night at Arcadia & then do both same night.

Thinking about it, the festival might be insane enough to put the three of them in Stonebridge Bar, though Sonic could be better for crowd control.

Now that was a great set!!! Hope he is indeed in Arcadia this year.

Stonebridge would be such a waste, that tent needs to be x3 bigger as it is!

Looking at the insane clamour for tickets for their recent shows, plus the experiences of majorly overcrowded sets in the last couple of festivals, I don't think they'll put S/FT/FA in Stonebridge! It was mental enough trying to get in for the History of Rave (tho that was Thursday...). That triple header would be insanely busy!

He's headlining a festival with prodigy in like hungary - probably a similar size there as he is in the UK

reckon he just won't get booked bar the b2b2b

can't see him playing like Sonic - if he was from the uk sure but not sure he'd fly over just for that, think he'd want a main stage.

JP maybe

Tell me it's going to be 140bpm+ without saying it's going to be 140bpm+

😂😂 Right bit of me, best Teletech lineup I've ever seen. Only got into 6ejou at the start of the year, desperate to see him now. Then the rest of it for my taste in Techno is stackedddd, really hoping work can change my hours round a bit so I can go.

It's great to see some new artists popping up on lineups, instead of the same old names. Keeps me on my toes, not that I can keep up these days. There's a definite upward trend in the harder techno over here now, I wonder if the taste makers at Glastonbury will be across it? Don't forget to report back!

Fingers crossed they are, XXL/Teletech have a couple stage take over planned again this year, wonder if they'd ever consider working at or alongside the teams at Glastonbury? The most recent TT lineups have all been top tier, really really starting to push the boat out to bring in some new and smaller names that are on the rise, class to see! If I manage to get to the hardcore event I will definitely report back in here to let you all know how it was, if not, I'm certain some other mates will go and let me know how it went!

Chems just announced another DJ set, in the States in April.

Looks like they aren’t just doing live shows this year after all, decent bet for Arcadia.

those are live sets mate - all their shows this year are live sets, these are inbetween the coachella weekends

its overmono who are supporting underneath billed as a DJ set

fun fact here - tom and ed are the names of both overmono and chems

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
