I thought that at first then spotted there is a par which says this:

"Roger and Pete played a triumphant headline set in 2007 but are so desperate to play again they are rearranging a Paris show originally scheduled for that Sunday."

Hmmm. Will believe it when I see it confirmed.

How can they rearrange the Paris gig if they are not going to announce it is off until June 1? What about the thousands of people due to attend in Paris? It will cost them hundreds of thousands to cancel that gig.

HOW DID WE NOT THINK OF THIS. BRITISH SUMMER TIME. 50TH ANNIVERSARY. PLAYED ALREADY.

URGH I HATE THIS FORUM.

and love it.

It was mentioned loads before the Paris date was announced, which put them out of the picture.

Edit: Beaten to it.

This makes copious amounts of sense. I apologise for my silliness.

But seriously, I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything about them in ages and ages.

Actually, Paris Zenith only holds 6k. It's not completely beyond the realms of possibility. Though surely cancelling that gig at four weeks notice would show a blatant disregard for those fans. People will travel from all over Europe for it.

Ahahahaha what a load of nonsense. Of course they will absolutely cancel a sold out arena gig at the last minute so that they can come play Glastonbury.

There's an obvious answer here we're all missing though.

Give everyone at the cancelled Arena gig free Glastonbury tickets and pay for their flights over!

Problem solved!

Or do an AC/DC and play early then fly over for 2 gigs in a day ;)
