Just to let you know, Mum is recovering well in hospital. Phew! Now then. Out of curiosity I posted on the FB Glasto forum, how would you lot react if Taylor Swift was the headliner. I expected a stream of abuse judging by the Kanye comments. Instead there is a generally positive response from men and women which really surprised me. Quite a few peeps saying she would be great, etc. Just saying like

Don't think West Holts will look like that as they said "West Holts Stage Bit late for requests but 24 bands from 15 countries. Should be something you like."

Yeah that's the one I made in the prediction thread.

Cool, I looked through that thread but couldn't see who made it.

Out of curiosity, why roots manuva and cypress hill? Any clues to that, or purely as they are touring at the time?

Good news about your mum.

Wouldn't want to see Taylor Swift myself, but like others on here I have noticed that you quite like her and so would be pleased for u, I would just be having my fun somewhere else on site.

Stuck at work till 3 but the systems have gone down. What a shame... I like the look of that line up even if it is fake. Still hoping for his purple highness for Sunday but be happy if Stone Roses did play.

How do you know?

2-3 things on top of what we already know collectively on this board.

More the fact of, I can't see those 2-3 things being lies when they are all coming from people who aren't connected to each other.

I do like your optimism but be honest, you don't actually know do you. None of us do. Still, please keep posting Matt. I enjoy your ever changing headline confirmations :)

I don't know why Matt just dropped it in to conversation like a bombshell but yeah it's been widely assumed for a few weeks now. There's three fests that could actually announce Florence now and the bosses of two of them have said they haven't booked her and one of those bosses have said that she's just playing one festival this year, so it's likely to be the other one, which is Glastonbury.

- Something from a forum user here whom I'm trusting is not lying.

Two other bits come from people who attended Flo's surprise london gigs, and hung around with a crowd to see flo after, from what they said when fans were asking Flo about Glastonbury she was responding with "I can't say anything" or something along those lines.

With that on top of everything we know on this thread, wanna bet to water aid she won't be there?

Assumed yeah. I think she will play somewhere on the bill. I just can't help but like Matts total conviction with every band he says will headline or play!

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
