I've said from the start I don't think you were him. A few people in here were so convinced they started properly laying into you with serious vitriol. It would seem that you genuinely aren't that particular knob after all. Just feel certain people should address that wrong as it doesn't evoke much confidence in newer members.

The jury's still out on whether you are in fact a knob though... ;-)

I sincerely apologise to Bonehead > but pretending to be someone who had already been blocked for using homophobic comments by repeatedly signing off posts with that homophobe's username in an intentionally, knowingly provocative manner was not cool. Not cool at all.

So, apologies. And it'd be nice to be proved wrong that you're not that same person.

How about someone starting a parallel thread that summarises the activity each day on this thread so those of us who've got to earn a living can stop wasting so much work time?

One post per day summarising the previous 24 hours' speculation in less than 100 words.

Anyone up for it?

No worries man! Cheers!

Sounds like they maybe haven't had many payments...

...potentially meaning the line-up might be more likely to come before the end of the window...

They have tweeted someone saying that thousands paid in the first few minutes of the window opening.

Does the fact that the mobile version of this forum won't come up for me have anything to do with the announcement?

Does the fact that I got an early easter egg today have anything to do with the announcement?

Depends on which Easter egg it was?

    • 2 really good albums IMO. Fun, really good musicians, energetic, can dance to it.    I'd take that over the couple of dozen twee ernest singer songwriter 2 chord dross acts on the bill most years.
    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
