How many days annual leave are you taking for Glastonbury?

I'm taking Wednesday to the following Tuesday inclusive. I actually count Monday as part of the festival. I don't want to have to rush off overnight to get back behind a desk on Monday so I'll be hanging around, taking in the sight of the way things end to compliment the way things began. Call it 'closure'.

Are bars still open on the Monday? If so, you'll find me propped up somewhere with a few die-hards.

I'll sleep when I'm dead!!!*

*or on Tuesday.

I have Tuesday - Monday off as annual leave, and the following Tuesday as "Flexi Leave"... Basically I can take it off if I have accrued enough TOIL (which I will have) and they don't desperately need me in the office (which I hope they don't as I'll be bloomin useless!)

I'm lucky, I'm a self-employed adult and community ed tutor and everyone who employs me knows that Glastonbury week is sacred and I won't be available.

Take off from Monday till the following Wednesday.

Need Monday to pack, Tuesday to travel and get set up in CV East. Festival Wednesday-Sunday. Monday to pack up and travel home. Tuesday to get over it.

Ready (ish) for work on Wednesday.

I'm working a half day on the Monday before (gives me the afternoon to know I've tied up all my paperwork before going on leave so will probably still be at work) thenoff until the Monday a week after the festival (the 7th July). Longest I've ever taken, usually go back on the Friday after the fest to kick me back into some kind of normality which seems to break the post-Glastonbury misery, but now Friday is my day off each week anyway.

Probably for the best, since it is looking increasingly like we will have to complete on the house we are buying and move a coupe, of days after we get back. Pretty sure it will actually kill me.

3.5 days as per. Work a half day from home on thurs then leg it to Victoria for a 2pm coach.

I like to save as much hol as poss for other stuff - though having said that the tues off is compulsory (tried to work it in 98 - never again!).

I have 8 days , the Friday before to get ready, and catch the boat the Friday evening ... Then a few days in Devon with the campervan, onto glasto on the Tuesday ready for getting to site Tuesday lunchtime, and then leave the following Monday where we meander our way back to Weymouth to catch a Tuesday boat back - a lovely long break :-)
