morph100
I used to have many of the same gripes until I started going in a motorhome, now there is no long walk carrying tonnes of stuff, there is no hot tent, there is a good nights sleep in a safe and secure motorhome with my own private toilet. DavisO89
As fellow suffer of Hayfever....I feel the pain...but the sacrifice is worth for it for a dry festival. (I'm actually better when the sun is shinning, than it being sunny, then raining ) So less of the screw NFR NFC talk! The worse thing about the festivals, the selfish shits who don't give a fuck about anyone elses festival be that dropping litter where they feel like it, deciding no one else's view matters as long as they can have their silly flag up to be spotted on TV, not considering others might actually want to watch the act on stage and of course pissing/shiting where ever they like aside from the hole in the long drops/turdises

jonodillieono
I would agree with the above, the prevalence of dubstep at all festivals now is a bit of a bummer (I expect it sounds a lot better when on drugs) but I fear that's just me being miserly. Mainly just down to taste, as I never really 'got it'. I dislike the ubiquity of the festival 'costume', ergo mass produced stick on bindis, feather headdresses et al. And packing up the tent & carrying your stuff back to the car early doors on Monday is absolutely horrendous, bleurgh.

LondonTom
Last year my hayfever was so bad that on the sunday i had to go to the medical tent. My eyes would not stop streaming and i couldn't see. Their diagnosis was along the lines of "Fuck me, you've got it bad! Have some eye drops.." jdizzle
Playing Wonderwall over and over again with poor singing is a fookin nightmare. However, if it's a good guitarist, good singer, and a range of cleverly thought of tunes then that's excellent! A few years ago we had about 30 or so singing Tenacious D Tribute! Superb! Harry3
Is dubstep even a thing anymore? Nobody cares about it at all now compared to a few years ago, it's definitely on it's last legs. Deep house/future house is the future for repetitive dance music
