I'm irritated to see Public Service Broadcasting on West Holts rather than in a tent somewhere in the evening, but that's mainly because I missed them at Williams Green last year.

And I'd prefer to see the Manics in a tent — I have no idea what sort of a draw they'll be, but they headlined the NME tent at Reading a few years back and that felt about the right kind of slot for them.

I agree..

Some truely bizzare choices..

The most strange is Nutini playing at The Other Stage (he will get the biggest crowd all weekend). completely idiotic.

Loads of others..

Sometimes I wish they'd get a little extra help and advice...

I agree completely. Rodrigo y Gabriella on the Pyramid, I just don't think it'll have the same feel on such a big stage.

Likewise (and I'm preparing for the onslaught of abuse), each stages does have its own personality, and I think Metallica perhaps would have better suited the Other Stage....

will paolo geniuinely draw the biggest crowd of the entire thing?! including pyramid headliners?!

i do think some of the stage placements are questionable, i dont think its fair to assume that glasto know what theyre on about 100% of the time

that was a bit of an over exaggeration but he'll definitely pull a hefty crowd (especially against Elbow - he's much bigger than them - and Arcade Fire)

reckon i'll probably go along to see him. can't get enough of his new album

I am gutted that it seems Little Dragon and Ellie Goulding are on at the same time it seems :( I will be watching Massive Attack so it makes sense to see Ellie instead, I wanted to, but also wanted to see Little Dragon, I missed them the last time! I think it's probably right as they did West holts last time, though perhaps they could have done the same stage and moved them up the order this year.

R&G will be fine on the Pyramid. I saw them support Muse at Wembley Stadium and thought it worked really well.

The War on Drugs on the Pyramid is a VERY, VERY strange one. I've not seen them live before and absolutely adore the new album. Not sure how some of those song endings will work on the Pyramid though. We'll see.

I like the way Glastonbury places their acts. It encourages people to move around and see different parts of the site. It also introduces those who do like to just sit at the pyramid all day to some acts they'd have probably never heard of otherwise.

I do agree that Paolo Nutini is going to be very busy but can't see it being too different to when Florence was on the Other?

Rudimental are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine and i think they'l be great on the Pyramid. huge singalong songs made for a huge stage, along with all the guest singers who will no doubt feature with them (i know John Newman's there and i'm sure some of the others are as well)

I'm also one of the ones hoping that The War on Drugs end up doing another set somewhere more intimate. Putting them on The Pyramid is an absolute waste of a slot in my opinion, whereas they could have gone down a storm late on the Park or early afternoon on the John Peel

Any one have any inside knowledge on how the stage are booked? Would West Holts for example say we want to book Disclosure and then have to fight it out with bookers from the Other Stage and the Pyramid who may also want that act on their stage.
