No surprise at all but rodney branigan said he'd be there this year - in terms of stages he is hoping to appear with billy brag in leftfield and solo on the park... which is a big step up from last year when he was fantastic in that little tent by the tipi field.

Be great to see him get a bigger spot, well deserved.

Do you mean this year or next year?

'Ancient Futures' I think that little tent was called. Saw him in there after randomly wandering in. Well, I couldn't actually see him cos I was at the back, but his voice/sound was superb.Would love to see him at G2015.

Saw him twice, in the Greenfields and then in the Bimble Inn with a great violin player - brilliantly talented guy!

Not quite confirmed, but Chromeo, who had to cancel this year, "looking good" for 2015: http://stagedoor.fm/2014/12/14/just-chromeo-likely-glastonbury-2015/

Great news, was only a bit gutted they cancelled as they clashed with someone I wanted to see (Actually I think it was Elblow and managing to get to Arcade Fire in good time to get a decent spot :P)

So hopefully next year and not classhes :D

I was absolutely gutted they cancelled this year. I didn't realise until earlier on in the day they were playing, but I think the announcement had been early enough that it made the free press. Think they were subbing the John Peel, which I imagine will be same place they will play if they do turn up next year.

    • Elastica posted last night teasing a return, wonder where they would play if they reformed?
    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
