Saw CHVRCHES in the FR tent as I'd seen Green Day at Brixton two days before but that's only one of two full sets I've seen on the FR stage

Might see Manchester Orchestra this year although I'm worried I won't be able to get in to the tent for Refused

I'm hoping Refused announce a warm up gig later on as I'm becoming less and less interested in that day. Frank at Glastonbury has now made one less act that day, The Cribs will be there too so it's not looking great. Ash at Glasto which I think they will be, along with the expected Marmozets and CATB cancels that day too, I can miss Royal Blood if I'm honest. Day ticket at £70 for the Mumford day at the min maybe, £100 I wouldn't have even looked at it. I will put in there though, it's not actually for Mumford themselves.

Cool, I'll definitely consider it on the day, I guess the people watching an FR headliner are likely to be big fans of the band so that'd definitely help. Now you mention it I went to see The Subways having got bored by the first half hour of The Cure in 2012 (and then went back for the last hour, but having missed a load of the songs I wanted to see :/) and that was really good, as was Feeder the following day. Was able to see ATDI after as well so I suppose I wasn't really thinking of that as a headline FR set. That was a damn good evening.

Yeah likewise; if they announce a warm up gig then I'll be more than happy to give the Sunday a miss, however I reckon FR probably know that's how a lot of people are thinking which makes me think a warm up show may not happen

Has anyone here seen many FR headliners?

Could Augustines for about 15 minutes and they were pretty good. Really wanted to Palmas/Skulls

But this year the FR headliners look better than both the Main Stage and NME headliners on their respective nights (in my opinion laik).

Certainly more 'NME'ish. I had Django/Wombats down for 3/4th NME and Frank for a mainstage slot with his band so I guess in that respect they are very strong. I can see FR having strong indie headliners in years to come actually as you get fewer of those acts on the main 2 stages

Indeed, to be honest I kind of wish I plumped for one of their shows after Download last time but with gig inflation I thought I like them but do I like them that much?! I'd love to see them as part of the festival day but it just doesn't cater enough anymore. I would say if there is one, chances are it'll be on the Thursday with people having chose the weekend option not being able to attend it. Even if I was convinced enough by the lineup in the end, I'm not sure camping at Leeds is for me anymore.

Frank Carter's new band on Radio 1 Rock Show last night. In interview states playing festivals but Daniel P Carter said couldn't say any more right now. On twitter then makes a reference to Refused when asked what day.

Yeah I'm a bit baffled by their placing last year, didn't really take much notice of it before, but I'd have thought they were bigger than Warpaint and Temples at least, probably SBTRKT too. I could just be greatly misjudging their size because I know of a lot of Twin fans though.

Think it's quite hard to say whether they are bigger than CATB at the moment, recent Twin tour you could easily get tickets for but Catfish's sold out rather quickly I believe, may be wrong...

Twin Atlantic won't play above CATB. Vince McCann says in The Guardian "this year at Reading and Leeds, we're the last band on in the Radio 1 tent, so it's kind of a headline spot."
