This sounds great.

Why haven't they released that and left the shit-Coldplay for the bonus tracks ffs.

Believe just seems like it was the safe bet really as its likely to appeal to a wider audience (obviously not haha)

Two friends of mine saw Mumfords at Oslo Hackey tonight and said they were really impressed. They also mentioned that Believe is one of the weaker tracks by some margin, people were apparently gasping at how good some of the other new songs were

We all reckon it's Alt-J. There's a lot of evidence to support the argument, like RES, but nothing is concrete.

Personally, I'd love a surprise. I love Alt-J on record, but their love show just doesn't interest me. Just seems flat and lifeless. Musically they're tight live, but I WILL have more fun watching LB.

Some of us are still skeptical but admit it adds up. Could go either way for me.

What I'd like to know is, if Alt-J do sub Reading and headline Other at Glasto, what other English event are The Prodigy still to be announced for? It's more ruling them out than needing them to be where I am. I have tickets for Birmingham already so.

Surely they've been approached by many festivals, especially seen as though they have a new album out and have such a varied fan base (everything from Creamfields to Download) like I said previously, I'm 85% sure it's alt-j and I've stated reasons as to why they may have been held back, but there is still a little bit that believes it is Prodigy, just because of their lack of involvement in the UK fest scene this far.

But except for R&L and Glasto, what can they physically do now? The Creamfields, Download and V Fest that could have them don't, SW4 have announced their headers and it's a London event plus GG isn't on this year. A lot who want to see them will have decided to buy an IOW ticket, what good would it do another outdoor event to promote and try sell tickets for them now? As I said, Calling was an option but not with 3 months to go. The reason I lean towards Glasto now is that they don't announce yet and it's sold out.

What were your reasons for Alt-J again?

Maybe IOW aren't advertising The Prodigy as an exclusive because they haven't booked them on an exclusive basis, but no other English festivals have bothered to book them?

No other English festivals have decided to book an act that can still sub at a major festival after selling out a 65k capacity venue to the same year as headlining the 2nd stage at a major festival and another English fest as well?

I think Reading would jump at the chance and need I saw more for Glasto, it's a steal for them to have a 2nd stage headliner than can do that.

I think the prodigy want outright headline spots when they return to reading but no one will give it to them

So why wouldn't they want outright headlining spots at T or V then?. Provided that V was ever happening, going by their tour dates, I'd doubt it.

Reading having a gap this long having them back isn't new, they aren't the regulars they once were.
