think mini mansions will play NME; they already played FR in 2011 and are getting a fair bit of attention what with supporting royal blood and getting alex turner to feature on a song and all

Cypress Hill are in Europe Mid July

Please play. Play before Rebel Sounds?

Would have thought they'd be main stage for sure for reasons unknown other than they would still pull a huge crowd.

Would be brilliant though.

Was unaware they'd released anything before. That was 13th down on FR last time so I'd say a movement up a few places would be more appropriate. But being associated with Alex Turner in any way means that you'll probably pull a decent crowd, soI could see a low NME slot happening

Would have thought they'd be main stage

It would keep the trend of repetition of 2010's main stage going, there must be about 2 acts from that year who've haven''t returned yet.

Are you saying they're not relevant to RandL anymore? Or are you saying there is no room for them on the bill, this year?

If it's the former, then *insert sound clip of Family Fortunes wrong answer buzzer here*

SBTRKT to sub Deadmau5?

He was originally billed as NME sub last year, but Metronomy moved days, taking SBTRKT's sub spot...

Didn't play in 2013 so it's not like he's played years and years on the trot. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being SBTRKT.

I can only see Rebel Sounds sub being a 'guitar band'

Why can't Tyler the creator sub Deadmau5?

Actually yeah, he will have to unless Tyler plays 4th down NME because Tyler isn't clashing with Kendrick.

Mind you, hip hop does seem to play strangely low in the tent. Schoolboy Q/ Run The Jewels/ ofwgkta. ASAP Rocky was a pretty big sub imo.

Hawky goes a bit mental after midnight. Kind of like when you give Gremlins food.

This sums up my nights.

"And I wonder if you know

How it really feels

To be left outside alone

When its cold out here

Well maybe you should know

Just how it feels

To be left outside alone

To be left outside alone"

Nah, it's not that bad. My gf just sits on her iPad and plays hay day so all I'm left to do most nights is think about efests.

Funnily enough, I was the captain of my university RL team and they are called The Gremlins.

We've got Hoobastank, POD, Alien ant farm, Coal chamber, Dope, American head charge and Soil all in the UK this year. Hopefully a few of those stick around to play the pit/lock up/concrete jungle/whatever it's called now.

my time machine worked... it's 2005 again!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
