Hawky
Would I be an idiot for suggesting, maybe the sub is headlining another festival (latitude perhaps) and they're announcing them first, then a couple weeks after, they can be announced for Leeds? I'm thinking Portishead/ Alt-J/ TDCC (after pulling out last year) Equally, it could be someone that's released/ releasing a tour and they're waiting to shift a few tickets first. FOB... Imagine Dragons... Black Keys... I dunooo Or, It could be... Nick Cave Edited February 24, 2015 by A_Hawky

Hawky
The special guest is obviously nick cave. Id cry.
Hawky
Someone a while ago told me TDCC were playing... They also said Courteeners were playing under Jamie T. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if Caribou were put in between Tyler and DeadMau5.
Hawky
Are V announcing on the 9th? Surely they can't have everyone.
Gucci Piggy
I think Major Lazer will be the remaining dance headliner or between Deadmau5 and Tyler. Caribou's not much of an R&L act.
ToeJaylor
V are announcing on the 2nd Hawky.
rivalschools.price
Nope, nobody's kidding themselves that Reading were expected to book a 50/50 split, but only nine out of 60-odd is obscene. I'd say that 9 out of 60 is a representative percentage.About 15%. Anyway, it shouldn't be about percentages and whether the singers are male or female. If they are good, book them irrespective of what sex the singers are.

Hawky
Caribou played in 2010 and they've got so much better since then.

youwhatmate
They should dig up Bloc Party for main sub, that would be hilarious. I sometimes wonder if they would've been bumped up to headliner and not faded so badly if they had a year off in '09/10. Justice for dance stage headliner. Mezhyp1
Caribou played in 2010 and they've got so much better since then. He's got massively bigger, and better I would be surprised personally if he's been booked for R/L this year, doesn't really go with the kind of act they've booked this year unfortunately

I know, he's probably a headliner in all but the fact he hasn't headlined anything yet, and 'isn't a Reading act' despite having played just when he was breaking through and there being so little respect for that in their line-ups these days anyway... Highly unlikely but it wouldn't surprise me. Would also help boost the Friday a lot whereas at the moment it looks weaker than the Sunday and especially the Saturday. I would HATE for it to be Ed. But if you read into, and I know I shouldn't, the special GUEST thing, maybz. I personally can't see Ed Sheeran playing Leeds and Reading again. EVER. dentalplan
Can someone sum up the general feeling towards this so I don't have to read back PLEASE. I think it's good. There seems to be a lot of room to fit in other acts so that's even better. When I say good I don't mean 'get a ticket' good but I think it's a decent go. supreme
Yeah thinking about the NME acts, they do usually have a logo for the subheadliners on NME! So hopefully we have 3 sub nme!
Macadinho94
Could it be Ben Howard? Recent album and currently touring so would want to delay the announcement somewhat? Though the dream booking for me would be Weezer
