On the subject of excitement, apparently being excited burns an extra 40 calories per hour compared to if you are calm.

By my calculations, as we are all excited now, this means we will have all burned 14,280 calories by the time the gates open!!

Two weeks today will be arriving on the Crew Coach from London - we do things in reverse - we put the tents up inside our crew campsite and then go and pick up our crew wrist band and later on most will find out where they will be working { I already know as I am allowed the privilege to pick where I wish to work }
All my team has worked at Glastonbury before so I don't need to show anyone anything but we will be on a wander to speak to a few traders I know and then we will head to the nearest bar as I have arranged with others on different crews to meet up for a drink - so we have a party in a nearly empty Glastonbury.
its a early breakfast the next day and then I will be standing beside Gate D waiting to photograph the first few to arrive as the gates are opened.

Waiting for my other half to return with the car after seeing ZZ Top in London, as soon as he gets back myself and the boy will load up and hope to be setting off to the festival around 18.00. We are only in Cardiff so it wont take long

Counting down to 12.30 and the end of not just work before Glastonbury but before 2 weeks off, ready to start a new job on the 8th of July!

Train down to Devon from London at 2, before finalising packing ready to leave early on Wednesday morning with friends.

Can't wait!

Wasting time at work until I can leave at 12.30 - probably sitting on this forum and Glastobating!

Heading down to a little B&B 15 miles from site early on Tuesday evening where I'll get happily drunk with all the other people who will no doubt be heading in exactly the same direction as we are on Wednesday morning.

My excitement is properly kicking in now. I'm addicted to the weather threads and have started making endless lists of crap to take with me!

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
