Not a huge amount there that interests me but I'm quite happy with that. Gives me plenty of time to catch some new acts, spend plenty of time having a wander around and just give about things at a relaxed pace. There's so much to see and do at Glastonbury having a schedule of acts that I'd be desperate to see would take some of the fun out it for me.

Is that it then? Line-up complete? It looks to be what we had previously on the main stages, just with days splits. Kinda disappointing if no additions to the line-up are planned. Actually hugely disappointing.

Edit - The Stones must have blown some amount of the budget if that's the final line-up.

14:15 on the Friday on the BBC Introducing is a band called the Sundowners sound a bit like Fleetwood Mac, worth catching them if you get a chance although Friday is looking chocked up with clashes !!

Myself I think the line up is great Pyramid is a bit meh but elsewhere if you look hard enough there is something for everyone.

I will be doing my normal picking 3-4 acts to see a day and then bimble around and see what tickles my fancy.

This is an exellent line up I reckon. Enough to keep me busy, but not so much that I'll feel like I have to dash about to see what I want.

And I'm chuffed as nuts that The Beat are playing on Sunday too, they are excellent live and I've been meaning to see them at glastonbury for the last 4 years!!

Funny enough I like bits of the Pyramid. Elvis Costello > Primals > Stones could be a good laugh.

BUT that whole Friday, aside from Toumani, looks lifted directly from any generic Radio 1 corporate festival (V, whatever) and aside from possibly Jake Bugg I've no interest.

But then that's me, someone else could probably camp out there and have the time of their lives :)

why not? where would you rather she be?

Ah i've just spotted where i'll be for a good chunk of the sunday - williams green..

Not sure but i think williams green has a later shut off time, so PSB might be around headline time?

Is realising that you spend more time at williams green than the pyramid akin to the day you realise you listen to radio 2 more than radio 1?

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
