What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

Rucksack is packed, old phones and camera are charged, small rucksack still to sort and house blitz about to start. Nowt like coming home to a tidy house. Baby chilli plants to be transported for baby sitting duties whilst I'm away.

my brother gets prescribed lansaprazole for his stomach ulcers. he's kindly donated 5 to me... 1 a day everyday of the festival and heartburn doesnt hit at all. fantastic stuff!

i havent technically done anything today, but my cheap sunglasses and welly socks got delivered - looks like i might not even need my welly socks though!

Bought some last minute booze because I'm nervous I've not got enough but I always end up taking too much!

30x cans fosters.

8x liters Burrow Hill fresh cider

1x bottle foxes mint vodka

2x boxes wine

3x pre-mixed spirits cans

All packed, all booze decanted, just need to get the tickets put in a super safe place and then we are ready go in the morning!

Final run of purchases for me today. 12ft of tarpaulin, duct tape, bungee cords, 3 litres of gin and assorted hangover medication. Counting down the hours now!

Found out the tent, will have a run through tomorrow to check everything is still there.

Going to a supermarket tonight for food, hand gel and wipes and other essentials i don't have.

Went to supermarket, bought crate of Cidre,then went to the mothers, got given a free crate of strong pbow that was in her garage. Winner.

Memo to self - don't wait two years before taking last Glasto's parking sticker off the windscreen. Image will just transfer to the glass and you'll have to spend ages scrubbing it off.

On the plus side - putting this year's sticker on feels pretty good!

I'm on omneprazole at the moment, worked well for about ten days now my symptons are back worse than ever. Fingers crossed for a refereal to the hospital after Glasto. I've just filled a coke bottle with gaviscon, looks abosutly vile.

Going to have a mental time of it tomorrow getting everything ready and buying stuff I need etc. At the end of the day the tickets are the most important thing I need to remember to pack. In fact, I'm going to do that right now as it would be a bummer to get all the way there and not have the tickets. I believe this has actually happened to people in the past. Busy day collecting tent, rucksacks and other bits and bobs from the 8 members of my group travelling by coach.

Had a trial run at putting all the tents up so I can get them all up quickly on Wednesday morning.

Everything is now packed and in the car except one small bag for anything last minute I think of.

I can't believe it's so close. . . . I think I'm gonna burst!!
