What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

Decanted vodka, rum, gin & Pimms into plastic bottles. Amazing how much less it looks like once out of the proper bottles, kind of wondering if we should be taking more now...

Purchased a ton of baby wipes (4 packs for £2 at co-op) and made skittles vodka. Yay

Was supposed to air out the tent this w/end but I'm feeling a bit poorly and its all windy and raining here. Fingers crosed its all alright from the last festie.

Got bag of sugar and batteries. Might try and pack up some stuff later.

Been working my way through Mrs Grumpyhack's "Before you go to Glastonbury could you just ......." list.

It's about three month's work. The price you pay for a week away.

Mrs NS also has a list.... mostly done, but failed to take the garden waste to the tip. When I was a boy the tips opening hours were dawn till dusk, so at this time of year you could go late on a Sunday. Our tip shuts at 4pm sharp now, damn!

Got my tent down and put some new tent pegs in,

put my vodka into plastic bottles and have put them into the freezer so they should be nice and chilled for Wednesday

Bought my fabric conditioner. It's the best tip I ever found here, but only useful for boys (sorry!)...

That feeling in the middle of the night: you need to go to the loo but it's cold and you can't find one of your wellies? Behold, the fabric conditioner bottle! A <ahem> nice wide opening, non-fiddly cap and is that jasmine and lavender I smell?

Got my bottles of Pimms, they are now in plastic bottles in the freezer.

Bought a little device from Maplins mfor £4 that helps boost your mobile using

just normal batteries. ( It works too !! )

Went to my house earlier and started the process of gathering all my stuff together. Can't find my bungee cords to hold everything onto the trolley. Going to have to buy some more tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll also have to go back to the house in the next 2 days in order to find a sleeping bag which I forgot to look for today.

we've got a new tent and I was planning on setting it up but it's so windy and hubby is tiling the bathroom (no bathroom when we come home sob sob) so just hoping for the best when we get there now.
