Final shopping and packing!

Plus watched the extras DVD of the Glastonbury film, listened to the Emily Davis thing that was on 6music, and listened to Worthy FM for a while.

Tomorrow: tying up some loose ends of normal life, final shopping (inc insect reppelant after getting eaten while briefly outside tonight), and starting the journey!

Last minute fresh food shopping, hitched up the caravan behind the car, loaded it up and done final checks. Ready to roll at 8.30 tomorrow. CV East and Glasto here we come.

Packed everything, gone to my mum's (lives closer), realised SeeTickets didn't send my parking ticket, swore a lot, calmed down. Now to wait for comrade arrival tomorrow!

Finally started to group my things together a bit. I will pack a bit later today after doing one last shop for water and some more tent snacks. Oh and must remember to decanter my red wine

Yesterday I had a trial pack of my rucksack. Oh dear! I also tried my new walking boots again only to discover they still really hurt my shin so are going to have to stay behind and I'll be taking some flimsy ankle boots instead (as well as wellies).

What I haven't done is have a proper trial run of putting up my tent, only a half hearted attempt on concrete so couldn't peg it or put the inner inside. At least it doesn't look as if I'll be putting it up in the rain. Yay!

All packed yesterday. Setting of 8pm tonight and gonna pop out later for a few lat minute supplies. I am now watching Back To The Future. Really gets me in the Glasto mood as we watched it in the old Cinema Field in 2008 on the Thursday night, Amazing atmosphere, everyone dancing to Power Of Love and Johnny B Goode. Which I will be doing soon. MARTY!!!!!

Just doing some chores before I go, including weeding the garden and mowing the lawn. Gardening in the sunshine really got me in th mood for a few days outdoors! Weather her is perfect at the moment, hope we get a weekend like this.
