Silver Hayes have just posted "Proud to announce that netsky will be bringing his LIVE SHOW toGlastonbury Silver Hayes at Glastonbury Festival (official) - an amazing show that has sold out across the globe... Featuring live drums, synths, keys and guest vocalists live on stage... So excited about this!!". I think is the announcement they were referring to when they said yesterday that they had an announcement today, as them saying that was in reply to their post "so has anyone seen netsky's live show yet". What an anticlimax!!

Looking like we're not gonna get any lineup until next week at the earliest in my opinion now.

For the avoidance of doubt: I'm not bothered about the timing of any announcement, whether it's today, tomorrow or the day I arrive on site bothers me not a jot. And I'm not much bothered who is announced either, for that matter

Yeah this is what I was told.

I'm waiting to hear on whether it will definitely be today. My friend has sent an email to who the info has been coming from (mainly because i've been bugging them to get more information)

I think said friend is in a meeting now but she'll let me know when she's out if she's had anything back :)

Which option would result in the highest number of people not paying the balance of the ticket?

  • Announce pre-payment with a line-up not to everyone's taste
  • Announce post payment and those who just don't get it bottle it and go somewhere else

Whichever is the greater is my preference - a better chance for a huge number of folk who missed out first time and just truly love the place to get tickets.

I am sure there are many that just don't care about the line-up, it's just the place that makes them smile the most just by being there.

    • Lost my love of football years ago so I pay very little attention to it these days but I'm really enjoying Max Rushden's video diaries of his flat share with Barry Glenddening. I think Barry might kill him before the end of the tournament
    • Not sure if we had a si glow weekend goer on here last year so will be good to have a proper review of the new format
