Anyone any idea how many tickets go up for 're-sale'?

I posted a video on here last night in this thread about 11 oclock - was an interview with Eavis

He said over 800'000 users registered for this year, I dont think they'd have any issues shifting re sale tickets

Didn't Emily say it would be early April for the line up? I'm sure I remember that from a few weeks ago.

Here's hoping we get headliners before that though. I can't take much more of this.

Which option would result in the highest number of people not paying the balance of the ticket?

• Announce pre-payment with a line-up not to everyone's taste

• Announce post payment and those who just don't get it bottle it and go somewhere else

Whichever is the greater is my preference - a better chance for a huge number of folk who missed out first time and just truly love the place to get tickets.

I am sure there are many that just don't care about the line-up, it's just the place that makes them smile the most just by being there.

Just my opinion

from a marketing perspective, isn't it more likely people will pay the rest of their balance if they like the lineup rather than not knowing it?

You can say that "Glastonbury would sell anyway", but they themselves can't rely on that, many festivals have strong lineups this year... Glastonbury should not have a cocky approach.

Plus it makes sense for us to know the lineup after 100% having a ticket.

I think it's a good time to have it, plus alot of people are getting quite bored of waiting, and starting to loose all interest.

every bit of interest that has been lost will instantly be revamped once any bit of lineup news is announced. they certainly don't need to worry about that. but yeah next week is seeming to make the most sense. a little earlier than usual but not outrageously so

We are still two months away from the start of the festival though.

Would be better for the lineup to come out after the resale, so those without tickets buy because of the love of Glastonbury and not because a certain artist is playing.

And those saying that The Rolling Stones would be a disappointment!?! They are one of the biggest bands of all time, that most wouldn't have seen. Can't wait to get my Jagger out.
