Predictions for Monday announcement

I'm almost certain Blur will headline, it makes so much sense.

-They're already doing european festivals, not only touring this year but IN AUGUST.

- Why would they leave out the UK?

-Biffy are considered the "weaker" headliner, so another strong headliner will be booked

-It seems reasonable to have three very different acts, different musically, also different nationalities and appeal

-10 years since they last played

- Graham Coxon played last year-maybe not much relevance but it could of been a build up

-Will shift thousands of tickets, Reading will need that with glasto this year

BIFFY CLYRO-EMINEM-BLUR.

It looks good.

I'm starting to think we might get a big surprise tomorrow. Remember when we were sure it was sabbath? I know the conditions are different and we have multiple Biffy sources, but there could still be something none of us have thought of in the other part of the announcement. Any left field ideas guys? Mines still on MBV as unlikely as it is.

people, people, we do realise this is FR we are talking about here?

i mean cmon the way they put together the bill last year - even if they were justified those slots was baffling.

the cribs inbetween mastadon and ATDI? sometimes it looks as though they just book the bands then chuck them in order afterwards.

nothing is logical.

Biffy (Headline)

Bloc Party (Sub)

Editors (Main)

Foals (NME)

While She Sleeps (Main)

BMTH (NME)

These are the ones i would go for, for the announcement with a few surprises too. The WSS addition is beacause they posted 'monday' on their page so i think they will be low on main or in a tent.

I think people are (sadly) being a bit hopeful.

I can only imagine one or two bands being announced which we don't already know thanks to eFests. Maybe i'm just scared it won't be this "bring back the Reading regulars" announcement.

" February just got a whole lot MORE exciting; we can officially reveal that we will be announcing our SECOND HEADLINER plus a load of other NEW NAMES this Monday 4th Feb!

HELL YEAH LEEDS, weve got some HUGE acts coming your way. Who says Mondays are boring?! This is going to be EPIC. Were itching to tell you who weve got in store, so keep your eyes glued to all the Leeds online sites and dont miss the BIG announcement."

That's what it says on the Leeds website. Sounds like a really big announcement, but will it be a dissapointment like the first?
