Emily told us (via twitter) that there would be a big announcement in January, Coachella line up is due any day now... I can't help but think that this is in some way connected and that the Coachella line up will confirm speculation of a big name touring this year. There are only a few on the rumours list that this could apply to.

Hmm right enough, maybe not twitter but definitely mentioned it somewhere (did she mention it in an interview to efest maybe?)

I'm pretty sure that she's not ever said 'January'. She's said "in the new year", but that has 12 months, not just one.

She said "in the new year" before the last fest - and that turned out to not be January.

It's not like she was wrong either they have announced that African singer (Not good with spelling her name) and they said that they would have one opening the pyramid each day so therefore that would be classed as an announcement. Meaning she has neither lied about giving an announcement or saying when that announcement would be.

I think my view on it is.

You've got your ticket

They will annouce the entire lineup within the next 4/5 months. You will know alot within about 2/3 months. So just be patient.

I reckon majority of people that want to know the lineup now are still undecided on whether their favourite band is playing or not.
