Aren't Blur and Roses joint headlining the one night? Bit like Pulp and Strokes?

Maybe they're not big enough to headline on their own in the US?

Great line up in my opinion, I mean look how far down Biffy Clyro are, it says it all!

Is it just me or is that quite an underwhelming line-up? Nobody really breathtaking there.
It's not just you.

That's a USA equivalent of a very predictable Reading line-up. I have trouble understanding why people who go to the huge diversity that is Glastonbury would have much interest in it.

Which only gets to mean that most Glastonbury goers would be just as happy going to Reading, and they don't partake in very much of what makes Glastonbury different to other fests.

The undercard has some decent stuff on it, but overall previous years have been a lot more interesting. Maybe the increase in other US festivals has dented their capabilities to get bands they wanted? I wonder if Phoenix were bumped up as well after The Rolling Stones said no...

most people spend half an hour walking through the green fields on the thursday, pointing and laughing a the people with the funny hair like they would at the chimpanzee enclosure at london zoo, then spend the rest of the weekend at the pyramid stage and other stage, and politely queueing to get in the naughty corner on saturday night where they snort some laughing gas
so aside from the naughty corner bit, they could sit in front of Reading's two main stages and see all the same bands (or in reality a slightly altered set of bands, more tailored for the UK).

It's a great line-up if those bands are your thing, but that's always the case with every fest. There's nothing that jumps out as special tho. It's very uninspiring.
