ghandi
Radiohead demand the utmost respect. No band have done such a spectacular job of pulling the wool over peoples eyes so consistently for such a long period of time. They haven't written a decent song for 16 (sixteen) years, churn out the same bland tuneless nonsense year after year and yet are held in a regard that is akin to god like status. I can only assume that people just think that they themselves are missing the point, but they can't be missing the point, because everyone loves Radiohead, so they don't admit to it in order to save face and avoid the barrage of...you weren't there in '97 maaaan etc etc. Admit it people. Radiohead are rubbish and haven't produced anything worth listening to since OK Computer. Get it off your chest, it's cathartic! You very obviously weren't there in 97! ......... maaan

wilko8
As with everything at one point they had, and then they lost it. 1997. Had it. 1998 - present. Lost it. It is the unifying theory of life.

Vanderlyle
Watch The Throne would be the most depressing headline act in history. Jay Z flattered to deceive in 2008 - let's face it, behind the hype that was an average show at best. But.... at least Jay Z was sort of likeable. Putting him with Kanye West seems to have brought out the worst in him. Watch The Throne? Even the name makes me want to vomit. Sounds like they think they're Avon Barksdale and Stringer Bell. Playing Niggaz in Paris 10 consecutive times just highlights what douchebags they are together and how moronic their average fan is.

mattgimmeshelter
bit extreme, but you're very wrong Watch The Throne is the most hilariously genius title ever. the nerve of them calling their album that is just brilliant and say what you want about Kanye, the man makes amazing music ad puts on a hell of a show (solo or with Jay Z). i've heard nothing but positive reviews of their shows, and i think they'd be a fantastic headliner. the N*ggers In Paris finale seems to go down a treat when they play, and calling their fans douchebags is a bit of a silly generalisation

Bisque
If it's not Stones then I would have thought it would be a popular mainstream act like GaGa or Mumford & Sons getting the bump what with them at TitP (Glasto seems to offer/get headliners that R&L have the after, but Neil seems to have quashed this). Bisque
Not sure, just noticed a reply to Gazza earlier on on this thread (I think, I'm on my phone now) which made me think that it Mumford headlining.
Admin eFestivals Posted January 16, 2013 Admin Share Posted January 16, 2013 Kanye, the man makes amazing music ad puts on a hell of a showYou're having a laugh, or you need to get out much much MUCH more.Putting aside the musical content, I've never seen a worse show than Kanye. The musical content elevates it just a little, so he's beating Jessie J. But only just.
Justiceforcedave
I'd like to see Jay-Z and Kanye perform Game of Thrones in which they re-enact the popular TV series complete with guest appearance from Sean Bean.
