bit extreme, but you're very wrong

Watch The Throne is the most hilariously genius title ever. the nerve of them calling their album that is just brilliant

and say what you want about Kanye, the man makes amazing music ad puts on a hell of a show (solo or with Jay Z). i've heard nothing but positive reviews of their shows, and i think they'd be a fantastic headliner. the N*ggers In Paris finale seems to go down a treat when they play, and calling their fans douchebags is a bit of a silly generalisation

blurgh. The "but they've played a lot recently" whines are annoying. Both times they were in the farthest corner of the festival during the day, so hardly impinging on anyone's festival or using up valuable headline slots. And them playing a daytime set on a stage that only 10% of the people who wanted to see them could actually comfortably enjoy is a different thing to a night time headline set on the pyramid.

As far as I'm concerned Radiohead haven't played glasto in 10 years. They're long overdue another headliner performance, Coldplay have headlined twice in that time ffs.

I sort of agree. But knowing how long Radiohead can leave it between releases, the right time might not be for at least another couple of years. If only there had been a glasto 2012, it would have been perfect timing.

Saying that we would all still be recovering from our trenchfoot if glasto 2012 was on

I'd love to see Radiohead and agree with Ed that they are long overdue a headline slot. It would be an excellent show from an excellent band, and might put rumours to bed about them for another few years.

Also (purely selfishly here, and please skip if you have no interest in coincidences or self indulgent anecdotes) I was born about 2 hours after the 1997 set finished, on the 29th June 1997. Ok Computer was the first thing I ever owned because it was #1 and my dad did that thing about buying #1 album/ single, so If they played Saturday I would be seeing them (almost) exactly 16 years after their legendary '97 set on my 16th birthday hearing live songs that were the first things I ever owned. Spooky eh

Ok I'm done now
