New single released this morning at 5.00am, new album apparently in March. All done without anybody having a clue...

Surely no live dates as well? Surely not in our favourite place in the Summer? With the headline spots being less clear at this stage for a long time could this be the reason why?

I know it's a mad long shot but the thought of a new single and album seemed pretty mad yesterday.

Rather liked the lyrics, but not so sure about the overproduced instrumentation, it was a bit rolling and a little too stilted for my liking.

Sounds like poeple clutching at straws to me, we'll see but i can't see it at all really. Although one pines back to his last headline performance it would never be the same.

Jagger looks old, McCartney looks old. They are in their 60s after all, personally I dont think he looks to bad considering he'll be 70 in 4 years!

I dont think he looks frail at all. To be fair, he looks good for 66, he just looks odd in that head malarkey, but looks good when he's stood up near the end.

Who knows, but given the song and album, surely there has to be a possibility of Glasto?

The single/album announcement has come out of nowhere, so anything's possible. There's been a lot of speculation about his health over the last decade, since he had to cancel those shows to have a heart op. Who knows if he's up to playing live. Fingers crossed they'll be some gigs, maybe a final tour.

The new song's got a reflective, melancholy feel to it. Read in to that what you want.

he IS old though in fairness. And has done more drugs than most of us can fathom.

Would Cohen have ever toured again if he hadn't been robbed blind and left virtually skint?
