I agree to a point, i still like the album, would agree it nowhere near as good as Total life forever but i reckon it will go down well live, can't wait to see them TBH, lets hope they don't clash majorly

Holy Fire has been the album that has really got me into this band. I had the first albums but hadn't listened to them for a while and I've been on a Foals binge for the past few weeks now.

Really enjoying the new album. More than enough songs to have a solid (headline) setlist now. Problem is they'll be kicking out a load of old ones now. Subbing the other stage would be a decent spot for me, sun going down etc etc. before psy or whatever

Saw the Foals last night for the first time at Norwich UEA and was blown away with how good they were live along with the light show they put on. Played a good mixture of stuff of all 3 albums. Are they not in Japan at the Fuji Rock Festival around Glastonbury time this year? If they do play I would highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.

Do you know what, I was actually posting that whilst talking to someone.

I thought John Peel headliners had previously been "bigger" bands, but as I took up the lists and thought to myself Foals are bigger than most of these and at better stage in popularity, but didn't clock that I was actually going against my original comment...............

Do they play that big a venues though? They only played the Manchester and Liverpool academies on the recent tour these past few weeks, so not that big venues.

Would rather them be in a tent or at night. I just feel they would lose something by being outside in the day

Can see them 3rd down on the Pyramid. A sunny affair like Vampire Weekend had in 2010 would suit them nicely. Also guaranteed that the hook of 'My Number' will be used in the BBC's mini-Glastonbury coverage advert.

The foals were incredible at Rock City last night.

Would love to see them given an opportunity to headline other. Although seeing them in a tent late on would make it decent atmosphere

i don't know why but any time somebody refers to them as 'The Foals' i grin a little. i hope The Sigur Roses are play above them
