Where's everybody's favourite place to go when things get a bit too much or you just need a bit of peace and quiet?

Personaly mine are the permaculture garden. Even at the busiest of times when the whole site seems rammed and manic, it always seems so peacefull and tranquill. An amzing place just to sit and chill out and recharge the batteries and you get to learn too The other i can't remember the name of but it's a cafe at the bottom of the greenfields market area. Sells amazing coffee in a real mug (you leave a deposit i think?) and they have a little fire pit to keep the cold out in the early hours. I have met the most random people there at times. Brilliant place to get away from the madness of the early hours.

I quite like Croissant Neuf for a bit of a chill, right by Jamesontheverge(I think? He posts on here anyway under a name similar) chairs and stuff Its brilliant there Had a kid playing Sax to once

We like the vegan tipee,which is on the track along from the top of the park somewhere,they do an amazing crepe and guiness chocolate fudge cake. You have to take your shoes off when you go in and they have a log fire in the middle when it's cold or raining.The kids normally enjoy the Greenpeace field

I like to have a wander around the Green Fields and the Healing Field when my brain screeches out for some serenity. I keep meaning to have a massage there but never quite build up the courage. That and the fact that I'm usually so wired I'd probably not benefit from it.

The Circus & Theatre fields, Poetry & Words is usually really chilled out.

Also, that place that Neiloggie mentions is great. Often stop there in the evening after watching someone at the park before heading over to the late night stuff.

My mates and I walked that loop in 2009 whilst on shrooms.

I still don't know to this day whether we walked it 3 times or walked it once but were stuck in a time loop fecking hilarious.

Ahh shrooms. Ideal at Glasto. I can remember holding on to the grass next to my tent laughing my head off. I thought the earth had lost it's gravitational pull and that I'd fly off into space had I not clutched the grass. Why I found this hilarious is the stuff of psychiatrists dreams!

the permaculture cafe is a traditional chill out spot for me. it can take forever to get your comfrey pakora but that's part of the attraction. time stands still there.

i like to go back to my winnebago, have a nice hot shower, lie back on my double bed, put on some tunes from my iPad and open a vintage Bolly from the fridge. and if i really can't be arsed i'll put 'Glastonbury with Fearne and Reggie' on the 60" HD3D plasma.

can't beat it.

Stone Circle for me, I love sitting up there on the opening night, having loads of people bimble past and sit by our fire for a chat/smoke/drink. MEt some great friends this way.
