CaledonianGonzo
Mick at Isle of Wight: Ayow.... Ow.... ayowthankyoy... Alriiiiiiight.. We-ah he-ah. This is a good festival. I did find it a bit expensive, £2 for a bottle of water, £4 for a burger and a dog ate my dope. Now we got one for you that we do called.... Gnomicide
As long as we get a "Charlie's good tonight in'e?" I'll be happy. I can't see him ripping his trarsers.
CaledonianGonzo
It looked like Keith had stopped doing his old 'It's good to be here....' schtick, but I think I've heard that it's back, back, back!
Mud Dweller
Mick Taylor from 3.20 onwards here - top draw. You even see Ronnie turn to Keith and say 'Wow'
jamiejc
Just saying I did a serch for Midnight Oil... it came out on top this thread! Would love to see them perform....
mike46
I won't be happy unless keef does his usual.. "It's good to be here, it's good to be anywhere" And "Gold rings to you all" It's as much stones tradition as them playing satisfaction!! drewsstrat
They brought back Angie last night. I'm hoping it gets in at glastonbury, one of my favourites if they leave it electric guitar riffs

GlastoSimon
I didn't think it could get much better after the other tonight, but last night's setlist has perhaps topped it. Get Off Of My Cloud You Got Me Rocking Paint It Shelter Angie (woop) Street Fighting Man Emotional Rescue (it's back) IORR Doom & Gloom One More Shot Honky Tonk Women You Got The Silver (Keith) Happy (Keith) Midnight R Miss You Start Me Up Tumbling Dice Brown Sugar Sympathy --- YCAGWYW Jumpin' JF Satisfaction Maybe missing something like Can't You Hear Me Knocking, but I'm not sure that it would go down that well at Glastonbury anyway, so maybe stick with that. I've resigned myself to the fact that they'll play the two new ones.

CaledonianGonzo
Less chuffed to see Mick Taylor demoted back to just two tracks and the return of Emotional Rescue and You Got Me Rocking. Confirms the theory that Taylor was given extra time as they didn't have a special guest for the second LA show. Who the ruddy flip is Carrie Underwood? Wooderson
Ahhhnjaaay needs to get a run out at Glasters. It is known.
CaledonianGonzo
Also nice to see Happy back - was thinking that had maybe gone for good as well.
Alabama shook
Rio was free gig on a South American beach to about a million punters. The IOW is the ONLY real comparison. It's the only other festival they've played But IOW was well gay so... No

FloorFiller
wow Angie and Street Fighting Man. didn't think they'd show up on this tour. nice to see they're mixing it up a bit
CaledonianGonzo
Angie though... Did a 70s ballad bully you at school, tonyblair? If I hear any negative words about Let It Loose or Shine A Light then I'm afraid that we'll need to part ways.
Zoo Music Girl
Is this the first outing of Street Fighting Man on this tour? Would absolutely love that. Think it would work well at Glasto too.
CaledonianGonzo
Yup - tour debuts of Street Fighting Man and Angie. Both are likely better known to casual fans than the likes of, say, Dead Flowers or Sway, so if Glastonbury is all about bringing out the big guns then they should definitely think about keeping them in there. Think it would work well at Glasto too.Got its first ever airing at Hyde Park so guessed (when they'd been rehearsing it) that it would have to be featured in July. I question if they could open Hyde park with it. Bit risky though. Edited May 26, 2013 by Alabama shook
Zoo Music Girl
Ah didn't know that. Argh that would be awesome at Hyde Park - really hope they do.
Gnomicide
Can't stand Happy. Probably just me. It is just you. Not sure on You Got Me Rocking for the second song, could lose a few casual festival website owners with that. Is it well known amongst non fans?
