Rio was free gig on a South American beach to about a million punters. The IOW is the ONLY real comparison. It's the only other festival they've played

Yup - tour debuts of Street Fighting Man and Angie. Both are likely better known to casual fans than the likes of, say, Dead Flowers or Sway, so if Glastonbury is all about bringing out the big guns then they should definitely think about keeping them in there.

Got its first ever airing at Hyde Park so guessed (when they'd been rehearsing it) that it would have to be featured in July.

I question if they could open Hyde park with it. Bit risky though.
