Just got back from seeing Cinderella, really enjoyed it, much better than Disney's other recent attempts at doing live-action versions of the animated classics; Alice In Wonderland and Maleficent are both pretty shit.

Maleficent was magnificent you fecking ingrate! ;)

Everything you would want from a Star Wars trailer, I am now getting carried away like a child and setting myself up for a huge disappointment come Christmas.

That Han/Chewie scene, cheesy as hell but just perfect! :D

And Kylo Ren just looks completely bad ass, glad they are taking queues from some of the EU on the sith!

I really like this, a lot more than the first trailer. It's got that real old school sense of awe that A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back pull off, but that none of the films since have managed. Return of the Jedi is just very flatly directed and the prequels are essentially one massive pixel.

Star Wars looks very promising. considering how poorly received the prequels were i just think there's no way they can fuck this one (or the rest) up. it's just gotta be fantastic hasn't it?

as for Batman vs Superman, the trailer looks pretty good, but i can't help but feel like the film is gonna be a disaster much like Man of Steel was. feels like they're rushing a lot of character introductions (Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Cyborg etc) so that they can hurry on to the Justice League film in order to compete with The Avengers, instead of taking their time like Marvel did. obviously i haven't seen it so they may handle this all well, but i can't fathom how they're gonna do it all in a 3 hour film

Ah forgot to mention the Rogue One Plot is out, will come under the label "Star Wars Anthology" to, to make it clear its not part of the main Episodes.

"A rogue band of resistance fighters unite for a mission to steal the Death Star plans and bring a new hope to the galaxy." Edwards confirmed that it takes place after Episode III, before Episode IV, and "closer to Episode IV."

Great idea for the first non Skywalker film!

There's a lot of good to be said about Avengers: Age of Ultron, but I couldn't help thinking that I'm glad Joss Whedon is leaving the series to the Russo brothers.

It's a good couple of hours though, even if it's the weakest Marvel movie since the first Captain America movie.

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
