Is it silly to suggest that adding the Dance Stage all weekend may have been a big factor in days now selling out quicker?

Edit: or even sell out at all?

I think it's probably an instrumental factor which sells tickers rather than an intrinsic one - personally i'm hoping to see 5ish sets in the dance tent so the stage didn't exactly make me buy the weekend ticket, but I do know that loads of my friends who bought their ticket as soon as Flume was announced.

Also out of my 20 or so of friends i'm camping with, I don't know one person who chose Jake Bugg / Bombay over Pendulum DJ set, the more options the better I guess.

how's exile?

I say it in the nicest way but please back off. You're looking for a fight now, thus fuelling the idea that you twisted the whole situation, even if that wasn't the case.

He's posted a handful of times and most of these have been to ask actual questions about festivals or answer other people's questions, so isn't doing any harm at all. Just leave him be.

Wait why was Com banned

Posted a meme of a gorilla and Kalusha said it was racist (which it wasn't), and then Com continued to post it after Kalusha said he was offended by it, so Neil banned him. Kalusha has since revealed he wasn't actually upset by it, he just said he was.

Wilkinson off one song (but is epic & dirty live), Annie Mac (ok but not worth missing someone else for) & Gorgon City (new groovey R1 playlist tunes) will get a big crowd from people just going to hear the one song/on radio for.

Blaming the guy who suffered the perceived racism rather than the racist.

If the twit didn't post pictures that could be taken as racist he wouldn't of got banned.

Blaming the guy it was aimed at, incredible.

It's more incredible that you think it was a genuine racist comment.

    • 2 really good albums IMO. Fun, really good musicians, energetic, can dance to it.    I'd take that over the couple of dozen twee ernest singer songwriter 2 chord dross acts on the bill most years.
    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
