Hope its not the Killers again, they only headlined in 2007, and it wasn't the most memorable headlining performance I can remember, apart from how shite the sound was that night

They would need something new and spectacularly good, for them to headline again so soon, and I cant see that happening if their recent albums are anything to go by

Fleetwood Mac touring next year. Based on previous comments from Mr Eavis it seems unlikely they'll be at Glasto if they were to do a festival. Surely a possibility for Hop Farm, Isle of Wight or Hyde Park if they do an outdoor gig?

Not too sure about Fleetwood Mac, but the Rolling Stones would be worth a shout and so are the Stone Roses.

I think U2 originally announced around late Nov 09 to appear in 2010; obviously didn't happen.

Consequently they then announced around Feb 2011 that they would finally rock up in June 11 (was worth the wait imo, whatever your personnal views on individual band members)

Hope the same happens this year and no headliners are announced pre ticket day; love all the speculation/rumours, adds to the build up

Arcade Fire simply have to headline, it should have been them last time instead of Coldplay but they got the headliners booked far too early and missed out on having the best band in the world with the best album of 2010.

to all the above. my reason is that they'll take no less than headline now I wouldn't imagine and they didn't like it at all apparantly last time. Not exactly one of those, wow glasto we've gotta come back bands and for the money they'll get, they won't bother and just play where the pay day will be IMO.

Radiohead, The Roses, The Stones, Lady GaGa - 3 of those I expect will do a lot more more glasto than AF will
