Hola all,

What will you all be taking into the festival as your tipple of choice for around the campsite etc?

I'm usually a cider drinker but of late it's been giving me terrible heart burn after.

Any recommendations other than doing two rennies on the head?!?

What cider are you drinking? I'm planning a trip to a local farm on the levels to get some Cider and Perry, shop bought stuff doesn't really agree with me anymore.

I normally take the passion fruit rekordeligs and a few standard cider cans.  With spirits for after dark. However this year as I am on a booze ban until glastonbury 66 days to go... i shall probably only need a wine gum!

Rum, using something from the Shaken Udder as a mixer.

Though the idea of bringing pre-mixed vodka and Kahlua in and making White Russians with the milk from the truck definitely also appeals.

I usually take a couple of crates of Strongbow Dark Fruit and a 1 1/2 litres of vodka in, then usually buy Thatchers Gold round the festival

I'm thinking self-mixed 50/50 G&T bottled up and on my person, plus beers from the bars

A box of wine on the first day, then decent spirits usually mixed 50/50 with OJ. A few cans for the mornings are also very welcomed, but my days of lugging crates of beer to festivals are over. Far too heavy.

When I was younger I only drank booze or tea.  These days I don't drink booze very often, but if I do then I always make sure to drink plenty of water, for me that keeps me from getting headaches or indigestion.

theres your problem, find yourself a proper cider and you'll be much happier

a good rule with cider is if its less the 6% it's good for cooking and not a lot else

Rum, with something cold used for mixers, fruit juices / smoothies / lemonade from those guys on the bridges. I'm not big on Coke, especially when it's warm & flat.

im also taking several homebrew ciders, it's still brewing at the moment but it will be off into plastic bottles & some empty bag in box wine packs soon 

& Il leave it relatively flat this time, normally I'd go for some carbonation but I think flats better for Daytime drinking

Thatchers Gold and the boxes of Weston's wyld wood. Take the bag out the box and it's really easy to carry around all day. Handy tap on the bottom works well too

It's pretty much all good, but I gravitate towards Jaffa Cake and Bounty.

I will be following suit, plus also taking homemade pineapple gin, a carton of cheapo Sangria, and a few canned cocktails. Then once that has all be consumed by Wednesday lunchtime, I will be hitting the stainless steel ales.
