zero000
Swifty would be the dream. Having said that I don't think they'll pull out. Full credit to Dave for carrying on with the show too.
fluff164
If they go for a like-for-like replacement my guess is someone like Kaiser Chiefs. Ooooh no thanks! I think Foos will still be there but the early post about moving Motörhead up is a good shout! That'll raise a few eye brows!
Hugh Jass
Give us Taylor, if there was any chance of Blur doing it, I'd guess they would be instead of The Who. I'd have a slight feeling after all that, that Damon has no desire after 2009 to play a Blur there again actually, new album would have been the time and it'll be long time I'd imagine if at all that there is another one. I think Neil is right that it won't be Flo, her after booking and announcement wording piece if you like suggested she was okay this year where she was and I reckon they maybe offered Sunday but she said no. This would be different for Blur now. As a last minute replacement there wouldn't be the same pressure to top 2009. They could do some of the recent setlists and would triumph. Badlands
From a purely selfish point of view, I hope it's Flo as there won't hinder my plans. I also don't think 2 weeks is long enough to source a headliner sized replacement. U2/Gorillaz was not as close as this.

markrkp
I hope FF will still play. Just hoping they don't promote Florence to top billing. I know she's well liked and has a huge following, but not my cup of tea at all. Her best song was a cover anyway.
Ged Devereux
With Biffy looking pretty likely for next year, if foo's don't play this year the swap would make most sense. No way they'd have Biffy and foo's next year
TomViolence
Let's just not have Biffy?
Rose-Colored Boy
Why can't people just use the headliners 2015 thread to discuss general 2015 headliner speculation erhmagod.
Martin Ashford
Swift is a pipe dream I don't see why not. She plays Manchester on the Wednesday. All they have to do is send the staging to Glasto and have it set up ready for Friday then transport overnight to Hyde Park. They wouldn't need to use the whole lot if it was too tight a schedule. It seems perfectly feasible to me. I want the Foos as much as anyone else but if you can get the biggest show around by a massively popular act surely it's an option to consider. Festival Liam
I doubt its going to happen, but if it does it will obviously just be Florence. They can bump an act from The Other or book a new act lower down the bill to fill a Pyramid gap (maybe Mark Ronson could sub her). I imagine she would jump (not too hard on that foot though) at the chance..
Mouseboy11
ROFL!!! I'm not sure the festival will ever book him again mate...
CaledonianGonzo
If this happened it would give me a massive Blur/Furries dilemma. Especially after missing '09. As much as I've fully paid up my subscription to Team SFA OK, having seen them both in the last month it was the Blur gig that took the champion's rosette. Koroviev
A Foo Fighters drop out with Blur replacing would be an upgrade. So I actually hope that happens haha.

dingbat2
Or a last ever Groove Armada live set. They are around over the weekend.... They always go down an absolute storm at Glasto What a final sign off that could be!
stardustjunkie
I'm not a Foos fan, however I can see them either doing it still or agreeing with the festival that they'll be back to do it next year instead. It's a massive headline slot, I'm sure they'd rather be up to their best, given the choice. If it's not Foos I'd be quite happy with Blur or Taylor Swift - I guess time will tell. Florence being 'upgraded' seems a bit crap.
