Glastonbury 2027 ticket price predictions

 Glastonbury 2025 general admission tickets cost £378.50 (including 5 booking fee ) plus £10.25 postage . what are the thoughts on next years price ? ...... im going for £395 plus postage so they can say its still under £400 ..... but I think the deposit will be £100 up from £75

In the two years average wage increases over these years has been 7%, inflation over that time slightly lower. It’s possible ticket price will break through the 400 barrier. It’s going to happen sometime so might as well be this year. Maybe up to 405. Of course the whole thing depends on the costs involved with running the event/artists demands etc. That could easily outstrip inflation. 

Agree with the possible deposit increase. 
Still great value as long as folk can afford it.

Yeah 400 is still great value. Headliner sized bands are 100 each minimum and that’s before you factor in the fact it’s the best place in the world

I think it'll tip over for sure, £410. Still incredible value for money, I paid 300 odd quid per ticket for Latitude this year (we go there with the little ones) which makes glasto the bargain of the century.

£415 plus postage. I reckon we might see a more spread out repayment plan option, rather than just deposit and lump sum in April.

Definitely the 400 ballpark. Slightly over - maybe 420. They sell it as a 5 day festival though (even though not much happens on Weds) which makes it less than £100 per day. Although - and not just Glastonbury but festivals in general- even though there is loads on offer - you can only be in one place at a time and £1600 for a family of four starts to (depending on circumstances obviously) sound like a lot of justification needed.

From a crude inflation calc I'll punt £398.  

 

Expensive for folk especially if booking as a family but totally agree that it is (relatively) exceptional value given what it gives access to.

Just as well the price whatever it is, is fixed. Imagine if dynamic pricing was dictating what was charged based on market demand. 😉😊

Probs over £400, they’ll get in all the papers for ‘Glastonbury breaks £400 barrier’ and pricing people out etc.

Bloody hell - on the morning of the sale i think theyd go well into the low thousands - id say £1500 and upwards.

 

That would be it for me, even volunteering i dont know if i want to be surrounded by people able to drop that much on a festival ticket! I want a cross section of society ffs

Over £400. and everyone in here owes me for beating the odds of it crossing that threshold in under 5 years. Gonna close out the decade at £475 and then we can discuss whats priced out and what isnt.

I agree with £410. Looking at the rate of minimum wage increases which will drive a lot of the cost.

I mean, I don't think I agreed to this, but then again I do have a very poor memory. 

So go on then, what's my share? 

I have just bought a flat which I'm currently kitting out so you may have to hang on for a bit.
