Sziget 2026

Got 7 acts there I'm happy about, so pretty good result I'd say;

Altin Gün, Black Country, New Road, Natasha Bedingfield, Night Tapes, Peggy Gou, Sigrid, Skepta.

No Turnstile is sad, but I am going to Berlin to see Deftones + Turnstile 3 days after Sziget anyway.

I have info that The Cure is announcing some dates on Monday. I know it's unlikely as they're in Sweden the day before. But you know maybe.

Hey all, eFestivals is getting better at keeping up with lineup drops and we've been building a new lineup page with a lot of features incoming: https://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/sziget/2026/lineup.shtml

All the latest additions are there, with the new ones clearly marked. We also have a stage/day breakdown which even the Sziget site doesn't have.

Please check it out and let me know if you have any suggestion of how we can make it more useful to you.

Just realised that Bmth and Sigrid are on the same day, and they also have a song together

Ha, I was just talking to my daughter about this. I am not a BMTH fan at all, but I really like their song together. So, do I watch their whole set, just in case they duet? Tough decision!

What do you folk think of the lineup so far? They've done well imo, expecially the will/won't be on last autumn.

Not many where I think wow, I must see them. Quite a few I will watch though. Nice its got a bit more of a guitar feel with BMTH, Biffy and a few more. Also happy they got Underworld and 2manydjs.

Will be interesting how the stages will look. I wonder if the Delta experiment is happening again, none of the artists have been advertised there. Or perhaps they are waiting for the next announcement.

Over all its a typical Sziget lineup, certainly way off being the strongest in Europe. But we all love Sziget for different reasons than a gig on a field.

I haven't really checked the names I don't know.

I would say there is definetely missing a wow factor (unless you have some favorite artist playing), but at least it looks like a proper festival with variety now.
Last year set the bar so low that it was really complicated to do worse, tbf, but I'm happy the did not make the attempt to establish new record.

I'm down with the idea of having multiple sub-heads rather than a 1-2 strong heads, I am unsure about the fact that the public will reward that decision tho.

Honestly, is there any European festival with a wow booking for this year? The Cure is arguably the biggest name on the festival circuit this year and with the amount of shows they are doing their wow factor is quite low in my opinion.

Given that they are holding a 24 hour sale on day tickets on Tuesday 24 March, I wonder the following:

- Are we getting Saturday's headliner announced on Monday?

Or

- Is there a possibility that the reason they haven't announced yet is that Saturday's headliner is of a size where they know tickets would sell very well, even at full price, so why not delay announcement until prices are higher?

I had 26 acts I wanted to see at last year's festival. This year, and bearing in mind it's a day shorter, I have 38.

It's a great line-up in my book and everyone in my party thinks the same. Does it miss the 'wow' factor? Absolutely, but the strength in depth makes up for that in my mind.

That all said, I'd love it if Olivia Rodrigo is announced next month! Lol

For a festival that wasn’t going to go ahead I think they’ve done well overall.  Fingers crossed all you people that are going are happy with what you got

I'm not going this year but I think the undercard is looking very neat. Sure, the headliners could be larger names, but they've collected a strong pool of names - not a personal fan of Skepta's music style but I think Jorja Smith is a nice edition.

Sigrid is also great live, I've seen her a couple of times before.

What is the latest date Sziget has announced a headliner in previous editions?

April begins next week which, for an festival taking place in August, feels quite late. Unless it's Calvin Harris or David Guetta I guess, who will sell well whenever they are announced.
