Anyone up to date with Oasis rumours? Seen something suggesting Paris end of June. Could be them in the frame for a date at Werchter - more likely Classic rather than festival itself

Is Werchter Boutique where someone rents the site for their own show still a thing?

Yeah I think Boutique, Classic and the new Parklife (with Linkin Park headlining 26) are all still things. Boutique I think is mostly pop, Classic is stuff like Springsteen and Nick Cave, then Parklife seems to be rock. Not sure if there's a limit on how many events they can run or anything or if all 3 in one year is still possible if they get the acts for it.

There is a limited amount of days where the Werchter Field can be used for events. Don't know what's the limit but as they already add the event with Linkin Park, I don't think they could add another one for Oasis. But Oasis could fit on the name Werchter Boutique compared to the history of the festival. So many young people want to see them.

Tyler, The Killers, Lorde, Deftones, Chappel Roan and Lewis Capaldi for Werchter.......

I think Sabrina, The Killers, Lorde and Lewis and Chappell will be in the mix. I don't see Tyler playing. I think Chappell would play second or co-headliner because she didn't get a big crowd at Sziget.

I still think The Cure and SOAD will play.

SOAD, The Offspring

The Cure, Lewis

The Killers, KOL

Sabrina, Chappell

Not a big crowd at Sziget maybe but the crowd at Pukkelpop was insane. I see her coming headline RW or a kinda co-headline.

Chappell Roan - Kings Of Leon - Electric Callboy.
The Killers - Twenty One Pilots - Machine Gun Kelly.
Gorillaz - Billie Eilish - Lewis Capaldi.
Foo Fighters - The Offspring - Turnstile.

Fair. Change Gorillaz out for The Cure, pretty sure they'll be there. Too soon for Foo Fighters again, they only played in 2024, not even they will do 2026.

Fair, I didn't remember it was that close. In that case, I had another idea - that I don't like either - with Pearl Jam. They come so often and haven't played at RW since 2022. If Eddie is in a good shape.

Far too strong IMO, especially Billie playing 2nd down.

Think it was Olivia and Rufus

who crossed over last time, from the announcement I’d say Lorde and Turnstile are the 2 most likely

They aren't going to be active judging i don't think. Also from your list, The Killers and Lorde the two most likely.

Add QOTSA to the mix.

No. Keep them away. Boring dross.

There could be some fun in doing a full mid-00s indie sleaze day if they're on the same day tbf. Make it almost like theme days if you follow it with a Sabrina/Chappell pure pop day.

Could do. The fact they had a few crossover from Lolla South America isn't ideal. But I'd expect most these, Interpol, Peggy Gou, Cypress Hill, Viagra Boys, Royel Otis, Tom Morello and The Warning from the undercard. Don't think we get any more than that. Bearing in mind, Lolla have more big names down the size this year and I'm expecting Lorde, Lewis with Sabrina at a stretch.

It was nowhere near as big as I thought it would be for CR at Pukkelpop. Sam Smith and Fred Again had bigger last year.

I want to see her pu a gig out in the summer first before guessing her as she said after this period she'll be away for a while so south america early year might be her done.

I think werchter will snap up Sabrina given the chance, whether I think its a good idea or not. She definitely doesn't carry the rockier vibes Olivia does who is still a pop star and I think her undercard would need to be way softer than Olivia who has Noah and Grace.

But Lewis Capaldi for exmaple subbing to Sabrina would be way better than Noah subbing ever was.

Lots of those top headliner/sub names already possible due to either good rumours or the fact we’ve seen they’re touring (even if it is early next year).

SOAD, Foo Fighters, Lorde, Lewis Capaldi, Chappel Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler the Creator, Turnstile, The Killers, Skrillex, Doechii, Radiohead, The Cure and Nick Cave (probably missed some).

Can’t say all massively my taste but judging on last year I’d have a great time at the smaller stages anyway
