Going after primal scream now

according to the Daily Mail…

"Primal Scream have been reported to the police for screening antisemitic images of the Star of David merged with a Swastika for their song ‘Swastika Eyes’ at North London’s Roundhouse. "

As I said and wrote on here in my now removed review (at my request).

Very much doubt there will be any apologies from GFL, nor, IMO, will the Bobs ever play Glastonbury again.

No worries though, they’re headlining Shambala next year, a festival that will appreciate them

should be thanking the BBC.

Bob Vylan (and Kneecap fo tha matter) are both playing on much larger venues than before their controversies.

While they are at it, the Bob’s should thank the Daily Mail and GB News too. 😂

Kneecap were always on the way up

Aye, and Bob Vylan to be fair but at a slower rate.

Hard to believe that the controversy didn’t get them a huge amount of publicity that they couldn’t buy though, and it’s not as if they lost many fans over it.

As I said, the outraged Good Morning Britain and Express fans were hardly their target audience anyway.

Yep that's why they did it lol..like anything cause controversy and people will look personally I think they are sh*t and disrespectful to MICHAEL EAVIS and the festival who said that no sh*t like that should be done...at least they'll not be invited back again..

They are a brilliant live act who highlight all sorts of issues, some of which I hope you agree with, although I doubt it. The most truly punk band around and arguably ever.

If you can’t see the reality now you never will.

They haven’t disrespected anyone, except the IDF, who fully deserve it.

They won’t be invited back, but that’s the festival’s loss not theirs. At least Shambala and Shindig have got the sense and balls to book them

There’s a suggestion here that you support the genocide of the Palestinians

    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
