After being there 3 years in a row 22,23,24 I was sad to miss out this year. Sounds like it was another classic. Would love to return next year, and with it being a Glastonbury fallow year I could see the demand being higher for those that would normally try for G tickets.

Lineup dreams are Lorde, Dave, Little Simz, Maribou State

From this year I’d love to see a return of Kneecap and Caribou on the “main” festival days.

And for the electronic names I’d be happy even just one from Four Tet, Tourist, Ross from Friends, KI/KI, Bicep, Anish Kumar, salute, Leon Vynehall

As always I’ll enjoy all the speculation in the lead up to the (usually) November announcement.

Pretty sure Kneecap said they would be back next year during the Sala Apolo gig.

It's not in the festival's best interest to hold grudges like that.

It's not about petty grudges, it's evidence that an artist doesn't hold to their commitment and can't be trusted to e.g. not to renege for a bigger payday.

We don't know the full insider story behind Clairo's cancellation. It's also in her best interest to get booked by Primavera, so I could still see her play again (during a year when GovBall won't bother).

Where did you book?

I see a few hotels available, novotel, ibis styles, h10 and hoxton in Poblenou

H10 Marina - been there in both 2022 and 2024. Good connection to Parc del Forum and Apolo area, walkable distance to the beach and many good restaurants in the vicinity. However, it will cost us almost 2000 euros (for 2 people and 9 nights - from Sunday May 31st to Tuesday June 9th).

We know she played a festival in the US on the Sunday. A high paying one.

We know she cancelled Primavera (not the other way round), having originally committed.

We know she didn't cancel last minute.

We know Primavera used the word frustration when describing her cancellation.

We know she has a very simple stage setup, as shown on Sunday.

Occam's razor...

The XX, Lorde, The Cure currently I think. And Lorde will be the female to sub Glastonbury next year.

Subbing the festival that isn't happening? 😂

Oh yeah I know the one, it's a good location. Tbh the price isn't bad for 9 days for a hotel you're happy with. I will need to book mine soon before prices are too crazy

Haven't seen it mentioned in this thread yet, but if the tour goes well and without any big conflict between the brothers, then I can see Oasis doing festivals next year.

0.00% chance of Oasis playing Primavera (and that's a very good thing given some of the crowd they bring).

Maybe it's been said countless times before on here, but why exactly is there no chance whatsoever of Oasis?

Because in it's 20+ year history the festival has never booked acts that attract the boorish UK lager brigade - think Oasis, Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs. Not saying all the fans are lads on tour types but all lads on tour appear to like these bands.

The chance was nil before, it's even less now (if that were possible) with the recent LGBT leaning approach to so many bookings.
