Foals clear winner for me.

The Mel C / Fred combo was good fun albeit with a bit of queuing inbetween - I had to look at clashfinder to try and figure out what I saw!

Justice did not hit the spot - were great at APE in August though afterwards 🙂

5. Back to the Planet - some little stage somewhere in Greefields - sunday night 1994

I have a vague memory of stumbling across Back to the Planet late one night/early morning sometime in the early 90’s. Guess that was it

1. Struggling to separate Pet Shop Boys in 2022 and LCD Soundsystem in 2016, both Other. Musically LCD shades it but for fun/nostalgia/atmosphere/friends it's PSB. So we'll stick with tied.

3. Chemical Brothers 2019 Other. Not sure how but the first time I saw them.

4 Frank Turner 2019 Avalon. Hell of an atmosphere in that tent.

5. Flaming Lips 2017 Park. Seen them a few times but this is probably the high point.

Only went from 2014 to 2017 and saw 6 Pyramid Headliners in that time, but Top 5 Non-Pyramid:

1 - M83, John Peel - 2016

2 - Chemical Brothers, Other Stage - 2015

3 - Fatboy Slim, Sonic - 2014 (don't know if that counts but was on the same time as Metallica)

4 - Alt-J, Other Stage - 2017

5 - Major Lazer, Other Stage - 2017

If I manage to get ticket in the resale, I need to see a headliner on Park or West Holts.

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
