Struggle to see how ‘dynamic pricing’ is any better or more ethical than straight up touting.

The only difference is that TM and Oasis are making the money rather than a cockney in a long leather jacket.
I suppose it’s better the money goes to the artist than a small time commodity dealer but not much for the fan

The sale price is the face value at that point in time. You would probably have to prove that though given the original 150 price of many of the first purchases else there could be some scope for profiteering there.

Scope for it?…. That’s exactly what Oasis and TM have just done. They should have all their concerts cancelled and their bollox cut off.

Were you successful in bagging some?

No, I got through on TM but I wasn’t paying £365 for a £150 ticket. I don’t need to see them that much and more dates will probably be announced anyway.

It isn’t! Oasis basically made an announcement that said don’t buy your tickets from touts, let us tout you ourselves.

Exactly this. Cancel their shows and out them for the thieves that they are.

sh*t.

Just got two for £299 on g and t about 10 mins ago. First Manchester gig.

🥳 this gives me hope - I’m in the eternal holding page for tickets for that night - totally panicked when I got past the first holding and hit any day 🤦‍♀️🤣

Off with their mullet heads.

Seriously though, when they announced the prices they didn’t say it would be dynamic did they? I just saw a list of prices. I’m out.

Finally got through to buying tickets after more than 5 hours in the queue and dynamic pricing has made the cheapest nosebleed seats left £305 each.

I hope Ticketmaster goes bust and the people at the top get cannibalised by their workers. Absolutely scum.

That being said, I never expected to get tickets so I’m not that fussed. Saw Liam last Friday and had a whale of a time so that’s good enough for me for now.

    • If anyone spots any new tour posters on site could they share them please? Hoping for ADTR and Electric Callboy tours
    • It completely depends on how that count is done   if it’s individuals entering the arena each day, over the whole weekend, it was at 30% capacity and in no way one of the highest attended festivals in the UK   it was in no way as low as 30% though so that can’t be the measure, so as a number, with no context, “90,000” is meaningless.   Only one category of Leeds ticket seems to have moved on to second tier pricing at this point. I don’t think this is necessarily a sales indicator as much as a method to keep prices up north lower than down south but with this and the anecdotal video evidence, it’s clear Leeds has been nowhere near its capacity (of 90,000/ day) the last 2-3 years
    • £56 - £118 was the price range.   Which for an arena show, dare I say it, felt "okay" in this environment.
    • I’m sure someone said on here months back that they self confirmed at one of their gigs, like late last year
