But they do specifically say for your ticket price you get 5 days of festival. Which is not true if they're dropping you in late on Thursday.

If you cant get your moneys worth being at the festival that has 24 hour music then that's on you.

How many of you are there?

I have 2 seats on the 4:30am back to brighton. Happy to switch. Sure that's possible on the way back

4:30 am would work for us! We're a group of 4, but if we switch 2 seats, there's a good chance the coach will have enough room for all of us to board together. Our assigned return coach is at 3:30 pm. Let me know!

Yes mate cos everyone can be awake for 24hrs a day.

It's not about value, it's about parity. Everyone gets value for money, but some people get 5 days and some people get 3.

Why is so hard for you to understand that 5 is more than 3?

It's a fair argument either way and I say that as someone who's benefited from a very early Wednesday and "suffered" with a very late Thursday coach a few times. In hindsight, they probably should have put a note in the conditions of sale (prior to pressing the purchase button) that when you opt for the coach, there's a strong chance you won't arrive until the evening of that respective day and despite that, the price remains the same. It's just the chance you take. I guess the festival could just be a little more transparent with that possibility. Still, I don't think there'd be many who'd reject the opportunity to buy a coach ticket even if forewarned with that information, in fairness. It's all about getting there, isn't it?

I didn't see much if any grumbling about times or dates on the initial coach sale day, never mind the resale.

Everyone is just elated to have a ticket.

Now that we're mere weeks away, the arrival times are out and the logistics of where you get to camp may have been completely changed.

I get it. I'd be miffed having to set up at 4pm Thursday.

5 is more than 3? Doubt it.

Just bagged an Oxfam spot yesterday and my mates return See coach ticket back to Manchester at 7.30am which he's not using and Im super grateful for. Im either going to ideally be in the Temple until close or finishing a shift. I know when I got the coach a few years back it was a bit of a free for all but has anyone got a later coach home in recent years?

Think it'll be good if you can be flexible as one of the Oxfam shifts is Sun-Mon overnight!

You won't know the shifts til you get there on Mon/Tues

Yes totally aware of this thanks. I should be able to give my tent etc to a friend so even if on shift I should be able to make the coach at 7.30 but would ideally want to leave later

Does anyone have experience on how flexible the national express departures are on Monday? Is it like one big first come first serve queue up, or are they strictly the booked coach only?

Going to London.

No on the way back they are very strict on being in the right coach, it will still leave an hour plus later than it says but they won’t let people with later tickets on before the ones with earlier tickets are all on. Totally different to the way there when it’s just turn up and queue

Long shot, my see coach back is at 5am to London, I’d actually like to leave earlier than that as have children and work to get back to if anyone would want to swap. I assume not fur a couple of hours but thought I’d put it out there

Please put my mind at ease - when our coach arrives at PGA at roughly 08.30-09.00, will we then have to join the BACK of the general queue to get through that gate, or do we enter the site through a different point, just for coach people?

Thanks in advance

Coach queue which gets prioritised over car queues you’ll be through pretty fast

It's a separate queue for coach arrivals (several, actually, depending on whether you're arriving on NatEx, See, or local shuttles).

I'd say you'll be through the gate within an hour.

That's annoying but makes sense.

We got a 4am coach (2 of us), and been very happy with it as got tickets in resale and didn't think we'd find any coach! But just seen Marc Rebillet is in SE corner 2am-3am 😞

I'm on a coach at 4:30am and currently trying to persuade my 44-yr-old self that I could reasonably pack up early, dump stuff in the lock ups and do both (sure!).

With 4:30am coach you might make it tbh!

Our plan is to pack up in the morning/early and then around 2/3am go pick things up from the lock up and head for the coach. Sadly think one hour for getting back from SE corner and walking to the coach from (hopefully) Michael's Mead with the rucksacks might be cutting it too close

I did that in 2022 aged 40, our coach was at 5.30am.....I'm sure you'll be fine (was also heading back to Oxford 🙂 )
