Guitar based acts at Glasto 2024

Yard Act sounds like exactly why I go to this festival. Just sounds like a guaranteed good time.

 

First time since 2019, last group to get tickets and got lucky in the resale. Can't wait.

Voice of Baceprot, an Indonesian all female metal trio are opening Woodsies on Friday. Unfortunately seems they’re gonna clash with Sofia Kourtesis so most likely a miss for me, but seem like they’d be a mega fun act for anybody looking for something to rock the morning comedown away.

The Royston Club should be popping up on one of the smaller stages ages this year, certainly one of the best indie acts about, especially live.

The album is a belter, been on repeat since release. Even better live.

The Big Special album is very good. Friday afternoon on Leftfield. 

 

Not that there are any guitars is sight, it just sounds like it.

I rely hoping Sprints get a second set, perhaps on the Other Stage in an early slot as they are well and truly breaking though and I think that Leftfield slot might be a tad packed. 

 

I regardless over bought a ticket for there tour so I'm all good

My only complaint is that I now have too many bands to see that will all inevitably clash. Nice problem to have. The K’s now firmly on my list - thanks for that suggestion.  Going to check out Lime Garden now too.

 It's a beautiful problem to have il be tripple parked minimum on acts to see all though Glastonbury.

 

No need to decide in advance fall in love with as many acts as young want then see what your in the mood for when the moment comes.

I think this is very well put. We have about 6 “must sees” across the whole weekend, and then most of the other 30 or so that I’d like to see depends on how we are feeling (and by Sunday how tired the legs are to race from Woodsies to Park and back etc). Once decision is made on the day I try really hard not to worry about what I’m missing elsewhere and just dig into the set we’ve chosen. Can’t wait!
