I went on a date with a Deanna once, and was absolutely flabbergasted at her:

- not being named after the song (might have to check when it was released, admittedly)

- not having heard the song, or in fact even heard of it

- not having heard of Nick Cave

- sending me a 🤮 emoji when i sent her a youtube link to the song

there wasnt a second date.

You felt the No Pussy Blues.

Nick Cave headlining is not going to happen, but just for fun: a fantasy setlist, as Pyramid proof as it gets. Strings and a 3 headed choir on stage, to reflect the sound of the new album. Maybe Colin Greenwood on bass.

1. Do You Love Me?

2. There She Goes, My Beautiful World

3. <new song>
4. Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow

5. Jubilee Street

6. From Her To Eternity

7Deanna

8. O Children

9. <new, orchestral song>

10. Where The Wild Roses Grow (with Kylie Minogue)

11. The Ship Song

12. The Mercy Seat

13. Red Right Hand
14. Wild God

14. Henry Lee (with PJ Harvey)
15. The Weeping Song (with PJ Harvey)

16. Stagger Lee (audience on stage)

17. Frogs (audience on stage)

18. Into My Arms (Nick solo)

My friend says album is coming out in November. No idea how valid his information is though

They posted about the new album on their stories recently.

No date or anything but a clip of them working on it.

While this is a thread for headliners, I would love to see Travis on the farm next year! Saw them opening for the Killers last month and they were great!

That could just be an album of mainly the Chroma releases, so may not count out a break

SZA has disproven the idea that Glastonbury ticket holders are sufficiently open-minded enough to give anyone a crack of the whip, and that no headliner will ever walk out to an empty Pyramid field.

Rather than take another gamble I think they'll retreat to safer bookings next year.  I'd include Fred Again and O-Rod as safe bets, but rather than e.g. Nick Cave they're more likely to fall back on someone like Liam Gallagher for the 'real music' folk.

Agreed. I wasn't that fussed about what I heard on record before I booked but they play very well and have a great frontman, so I was very much won over from seeing their spot.
