Still seems pretty doable to be Sunday (11th) night again. 🤞 -
and paid. 11th time (and probably the last for a while at least)

Will be nothing in comparison to the carnage in the dance area for E17 in 2009
-
also not convinced by the article. Sat I reckon but still sub headline. Wear glasses and you'll be fine

Is there any reggae other than Steel Pulse announced?
-
Coldplay could have done this and given someone else the opportunity

Leftfield in that slot last year was ace. Sunsets and semi darkness , good crowd atmosphere too. Presume a slimmed down version of the green & Brown albums being toured, or maybe some other classics added?

Uncle Duggs confirmed on his Friday show he will be there again this year. His hidden woods sets running through rave history are some of the best. Hopefully a Thursday set again 🤞 -

If he's not at Reggaeland the week before would be great to have him back. -
that is so right up my street. Almost too busy already! and I have 2 festvals already in for next year. Might have to see what the weather is doing nearer the time . . . .🤔

Fred again is a definite no. He said only doing 1 UK fest next year. his 1st ever festival as a punter. that apparently is Reading. -

Nearby? really, no. BT not announcing until after IOW is perfect. A few thousand seeing the message last year is no guarantee but i'm sure its happening. the fact its NOT an exclusive speaks volumes. I reckon they are due a Glasto slot too - opposite Madge would be a great split. -

Tickets booked. I'm taking 4 newbies (to Boomtown) not festivals so getting hyped. My plan is to take them to old town first and tell them a pack of lies and watch the fallout. Can't wait! -
Underground was the wrong word. Mainstream, maybe. Popular, heck yes. dunno. I’m talking charting sales. He’s not pop enough for people to know of him in the way they know of say (tries to think of a producer and the best I can do is) Mark Ronson. Little sims, hot chip have done AP multiple nights. Andy C has done Ally pally & Wembley. He still plays. I don’t know the kind of money they command I just love the music. incidentally, what genre would you place Fred under?
-
Thanks. I honestly would never have worked it out without this clue. would I see her at Boomtown, heck yes. MainStage glasto, nah. Think I was getting prepared for a big night starting with leftfield.
-
he's still underground in m opinion. I know you know people within but is that speculation or certainty. Care to elaborate on some other potential names you feel have priced themselves out. Just for fun. I have no idea what sort of figures these guys charge in that genre but It's not like he has a whole band to fork out for. No one is too big if they WANT to do it. crosses fingers

What's the likelihood of Fred Again at Chapter 3? How do you think it would go down? he's really not my usual cup of tea at all but was dragged to see him @ Glasto and loved it with the sun going down. A great atmosphere too. I've become slightly obsessed with SOME of his tracks, so catchy.

Chase & Status dj set - plus guests in place of Prodigy. a decent replacement at short notice. I’ll defo be back next year if Prodigy are likely. They will make it easier to recruit a bigger group for next time 🤞🏽
