Is Tickets for Good the main way to get those heavily discounted/free tickets? Wanted to keep an eye out for lcd day

Which ones become available depends on ticket sales. So if lcd is not looking too sold out, there's a chance.

 

If they go on TfG they are often available on other similar sites too. Sign up for any you are eligible for. I've also recently seen e.g. Girls Aloud arena tickets via O2 priority app and Ticketmaster have done sales for heavily discounted tickets - £25 of lots of summer events a few weeks back.

 

This year TfG have also gone out to ballot entrants with additional offers, so always enter the ballots! APE ballots all on there right now, and don't close until end July, so that gives you an idea when other discounting might start to become available.

 

Last year they had tickets for all days at discounted prices. Stormzy went really quickly (had sold well), others were around for a bit longer. You need to be active in monitoring - you won't always get an email,  and act fast if you see an offer.

What other sites are there that are similar? I’m not NHS but I’m a teacher, no idea if there’s a site that does that sorta thing for teachers.

No idea re teachers, but this is a good guide to more general operators. Plus also sign up to venues you like, events, ticket agents, O2 if you have a phone contract with them, employee discount schemes...

Last time I went was in 2022 for Tame Impala and was packed at the front. Stuck in the same position for like 3 hours. And I'm short. 

 

Considering LCD on the Friday. Is the VIP Pit worth it? Or should I just go to Forwards in Bristol.

I’d go to Forwards if it’s an option - much better festival.

Not yet, its quite hard to say who would be on each stage other than the headliners being on the east stage last. Even less certainty for postal service / death cab day.

 

all you can really know is that music starts from about 2 or 3pm and will go on till 11pm and there will be clashes or 5 minutes to get from one stage to another.

So how are people so good at getting freebies for this? I've paid for 2 days but tbh I'd be happy to go to all of them so any tips would be lovely.

Are cheap tickets likely? I was hoping to go to the Postal service day but my life imploded this year and I've not got spare funds. If I can't go I can't go but if there's a chance of a cheaper ticket that would be great.

I've not heard of anyone winning them. And they were drawn a day after they closed.

Link works out as approx £43-£44 a tkt all of for the gig days except Field day which is £40ish 

 

hopefully prices may drop even further as the events get closer however that is a decent discount for the undercard alone 🙂
