On way out at night hard agree with grayfitz & FakeEmpire et al. Walking back to Bethnal Green is the way to go. After bands end they tend to hold you outside Mile End for ages on both sides of the road so can take an age to actually get in. They do put extra trains on so it's pretty fast once you are down the stairs into the tube station & tends to be fairly well organised. If you can get night tube the deffo head for the pub for a pint to allow queues to drop abit. The Crown is ok open to midnight & on corner by main way in so Crown gate on Grove road however we prefer the People's park tavern near Queens gate on victoria park road as better drinks & tends to stay open abit later. YMMV though 🙂

Not much discount for Sat APE Jungle unless you wanna risk it on twitter. Twickets still have a few atm for £60+ whereas the Axs official resale has £67 vs the current £71 tkt price inclu fees so slight saving worth a drink 🙂

Thanks everyone for helpful feedback so far. sounds like usual issues with sound variations & talkers so some moving about the crowd might be required to get the good vibes going 🙂

Question for those onsite. Did they open the cans on purchase at the bars? They sometimes do this which is a pain as you end up spilling them or necking it before it goes flat & warm and abit ick 😞

Anyone who went Stormzy today or goes Field day this Sat please can you share how the gateline security check is for entry onto site this year? Expecting pretty thorough bag searches again plus wand scanners over body with occasional actual pat down body on top and a couple of slightly sleepy sniffer dogs 🙂 Any info on bar prices would also be very welcome too...

Looks like Stormzy tks now going for £30+ on twickets which may also be weather related as tomorrow Friday is now allegedly rainy 😞 Hoping next wkend prompts a similar drop of 20%+ on tkt prices for Haim although maybe not given weather forecast for the bank hol wkend is scorchio hahaha own fault as left it too late coz was hoping for a bogof deal like previous years sadly no sign for this year... anyway congratulations to those who have won so far via that ladbrokes lotto thingy - should be a cracking weekend 🙂

For those few who had issues with Ladbrokes it was prob something to do with the soft credit check Ladbrokes do to verify the account. That's why our account got cancelled 😞 no appeals either. Pfft!

Twickets has around 180 tix on offer listed with alot for discount on original purchase prices whereas the other APE dates only have a mere handful on twickets atm. Any thoughts why so many ditching & trying to sell his day? maybe touts offloading I guess ...

Gah! same has now happened to us. account was deleted as unable to verify. what tha flip?! used legit info though suspect reading the T&Cs maybe failed the credit check as have had that before 😞 Not much lost as so far the lottery has been a total bust however bit miffed as they are saying no appeals -feeling bit mugged off though & really hoping they dont make the Haim draw an everyone wins free tix now we've locked out pffft

yeah, Central tix website did then open up a wait list for any rtns. Deffo worth adding your name on if future event has one coz a mate got one tkt from the Central wait list pretty late on & there were also a fair few on twickets last night albeit not a s cheapy as the tenner offer was sadly

hell yeah. 6x food stalls plus an ice cream van was not enough. ha! we're taking it as a good sign though some of the food options ran out 🙂 hopefully its done enough to come back next year. it was a good time albeit a swampy mess mud wise 🙂
