Went Friday and Saturday this weekend and had a great time at both of them.

Decided to walk back to Stratford for the train and although it was long we made it with a few mins to spare.

Got straight off at the end of the last song and walked down to Mile End. Had no issues getting the tube so we had a bit of time to spare at Stratford. Would definitely consider coming back again if there's a line up I like and cheap tickets are available.

Out of interest, how long did the walk to Stratford take you.  I was really tempted by LCD Soundsystem on the Fri (was at the Glastonbury set which was amazing but obviously this was longer........) but assuming them drawing a large crowd and not wanting to be hot footing it away during All My Friends it looked a bit dicey for my trains and I had to be elsewhere early on the Saturday.

From the reviews I've read it sounds they did a great set.  They seem to be one of the consistently brilliant live performers especially at big gigs and festivals.  One of the best live acts for me.

Perhaps because I was not interested in the headliners this year, I felt a bit more the soullessness / emptiness of mid- and late-afternoon APE - with DJ acts that no one is watching and corporate demos that no one is interested in. But great sets by Sleater-Kinney and Decemberists which I had never seen before.

About 35 mins but we made a couple of brief wrong turns. It's a good 10 mins once you get into the Olympic park and through Westfield, which is annoying as you feel like you're close. Well worth watching from the back of the crowd and getting off quickly towards Mile End as soon as they finish or are on the last song imo.
