You'd like to hope so but with the lack of pre-announcement and the Glasto lineup (Same set of booking teams) not even close I'd very much doubt it.

Glasto line up not being out is irrelevant even if the GM team are involved in some of the stages.

A lack of an announcement of the announcement date is telling but it could still come today/tomorrow!

At least one member of the GM team is involved in the “Park” and “Other” stages. I’m not sure of the extent to which they are involved though as presumably the booking team for those Glastonbury stages is made up of more than one person. The Park link is more obvious as the Park and GM line ups are often quite similar, whereas the Other stage is often pretty different.

Hopefully! With recent years a little 'hype' tweet or information is usually how they do the announcement, feels like we're so close to the festival with March around the corner.

Would Vampire Weekend be out of the realms of possibility? New album in April and only two early tour dates in Aug

They've been pretty open about who they can afford in the past, I feel like Vampire Weekend would be one of those acts but you never know, it was a shock when End of the Road booked them but I know there were certain circumstances there.

Makes sense, they'll probably come back next summer with a load of dates. 

 

Similar to when they did end of the road in 2018 and then Glastonbury and lots of other festivals in 2019.

Fiona Stewart’s son, Ben Coleman is the booker and creative director for Glasto and Green Man. Not sure exactly which stages but Glasto must have a considerable size team.

Didn't know about the personnel but knew there was a link there, just makes me think why both of them are so heavily delayed with it being a similar team across both festivals.

Glastonbury line up has never been released before March (albeit a headliner is sometimes announced on a standalone basis before now).

Exactly!  Glastonbury isn't delayed at all - and I'm not sure that Green Man is particularly late either.  Neither have to rush - they are both sold out.  Its nice, but not essential, for us punters to have the line up months in advance, and it makes no sense to rush a line-up from a festival's perspective unless they have tickets to sell.
